Still the best in the South West

Below is the review I left after our 2016 visit and our return in 2017 found that nothing has reduced in quality or charm at the peaceful Poole Farm . Louise and Greg clearly put a great deal of unseen work into making your stay perfect in every way and whilst we rarely go to the same site more than once we are looking forward to returning next year for our third . The dog walk has improved and you can now order an excellent breakfast to be brought to you in your caravan . WiFi is good thanks to Greg being an expert in the field and it is provided free of charge , TV reception with a standard aerial is also good . Each pitch has its own tap and EHU . We cant wait to return to this little haven next year . 2016 Review From the moment we arrived at both the B&B and the CL, ( we used both as mother in law came too ) Louise , Greg and Harvey's hospitality was second to none even providing tea and biscuits before we unhitched and a cream tea shortly after . While we were there chocolate cake , lemon cake , ice creams and frankly so many other things were generously given to us I lost count however more importantly it felt like being among friends . The B&B facilities , cleanliness and standard of breakfast provided wouldn't shame a five star hotel . The CL pitch sizes are generous and well maintained with a tap each and EHU . The " Hut " houses both a large shower with plenty of space and clean towels daily as well as a loo and sink etc all immaculately clean and warm . We were so pleased that before leaving we booked a return visit . Louise ,Greg and Harvey are a lovely friendly family and we look forward to seeing them again .

Best by Far

We stayed at Poole Farm recently and had the most wonderful stay. Louise, Greg and Harvey made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived even the dog felt part of the welcome. You could just feel the stresses and worries of everyday life start to fade as so relaxed. The site was spotless and so much information to hand or if you had any query you felt it was no bother to ask. It was the little extras that made it extra special and will always remain an extra special place in our memories. We hope to go back soon and would recommend this site to anyone. Beautifully presented quiet clean site with a feeling of spaciousness and extremely thoughtful and very helpful owners. Set in fabulous countryside with all necessary facilities and more including cream tea on arrival! To top it all if required and at a good price the best breakfast ever delivered to your pitch along with newspaper. Lovely walks direct from site. Nicest CL site ever stayed at and are returning soon. Rosemary and Roy

A perfect Cl Site

We have just returned from our 3rd relaxing visit to Poole Farm. This is a gem of a find and Louise and Greg are the perfect hosts and cannot do enough for you. The site is immaculately kept, generous sized gravel pitches with adjacent grass area, electric and water hook up, a large enclosed dog field, where our 2 love to have a good run, and 'The Hut' which houses a spotlessly clean shower and toilet (with complimentary toiletries if required) and an information area where you can also purchase home made jams and fresh eggs. On arrival we are greeted with tea and biscuits, not forgetting biscuits for the dogs too, followed by fresh cream scones and jam, and later on in the week home made cake. You can also order freshly cooked Full English Breakfast and freshly baked pastries delivered to your caravan. They really do know how to spoil you here, such kind gestures. We couldn't ask for anything more at this site and are looking forward to another return visit next Easter. Thank you to Louise, Greg and Harvey you always make us feel very welcome and reluctant to leave and not forgetting Rufus

HEAVEN

What can I say about this site that's not been said before ????? We only booked two nights ,oh how we wished we booked more. It has too be the most fantastic CL site in the UK ,we have stayed at a number of CL sites ,but nothing ,nothing comes close. "The Hut"is just something else . Louise and Greg have done a fantastic amount of work to get this business up to 5*+ standard. Their son Harvey is quite the young gentleman with impeccable manners ,oh,he can also sing all the great hits . Can't thank you all enough for a most heavily stay .

What a gem of a site

We do hesitate to write this review as it will encourage more visitors (that is what the owners want and deserve) but we do not want too many people to discover this gem as we will not be able to pick and choose when we want to visit. We do not want to go through the list of facilities commenting on each in turn. All we need to say is that all aspects of this site are brilliant.

Just perfect ...

We stayed on this wonderful CL in April and simply had to return for a second visit to enjoy Greg, Louise and Harvey’s hospitality. A delicious complimentary cream tea on arrival, the best ginger cake we have ever tasted and ice-creams when the weather was hot. We were not disappointed. This is still the best site we have ever stayed on, and is all down to the friendliness and hard work of Louise and Greg. Everything is spotless and nothing is too much trouble. We ordered Louise’s home cooked breakfast on our last full day, delivered to the caravan piping hot and simply scrumptious. What else can we say, just perfect. Wish we had stayed for 14 days instead of the 10 we had booked for. Thank you again Greg, Louise & Harvey, from very happy visitors - Elaine, Graham & Oakly x
