We have just spent a week with friends at Poole Farm and I have got to say this is the best CL we have ever stayed at!! The serviced pitches are perfect and “The Hut” is a great bonus if you don’t want to use your own facilities. The welcome on arrival was second to none and the scones, jam and cream were delicious! A very special touch was that Loise arrived at the van door with a delicious Lemon Cake for my birthday. Thank you Louise it was very thoughtful of you. Finally, Louise offers a full English Breakfast, brought to your door by Greg. We couldn’t resist and I must say it was amazing! Well cooked and very hot, it was delicious. We will definitely be back! Thankyou, Louise, Greg and Harvey you went the extra mile and It was very much appreciated.
Fantastic Experience
My wife and I have just spent 5-fantastic nights on Louise and Greg's immaculate CL. Their hospitality, facilities and location are really second to none, they are so friendly and welcoming. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Louise and walked around the site, explaining what was what and conversing as we went. Shortly after, Louise was walking towards our unit with the most delicious and warm cream teas, what a welcome indeed! Greg too arrived on our second day with the most delicious lemon cake, again, superbly baked by Louise. 'The Hut' is such a great facility, immaculate, spacious shower, nice and warm, daily clean hand towel, plenty of space and toiletries, everything you could really wish for. There is more than ample space between each unit with immaculately kept grounds, a dog walk where our 4-legged friends do not have to be on a lead and even they receive a treat upon arrival! Thank you both so much, we look forward to seeing you all again soon and wish you all the best for the future. Huey and Carolyn.

Exceptional
I do not usually provide reviews but this site is so good that I feel compelled to do so.
We travel around in our Motorhome a lot, staying a night or two always at CL sites.
Poole Farm is by far the best we have stayed at.
Despite weeks of rain not a puddle on the site. All pitches are on well drained gravel.
Toilet and shower is more like the ensuite at a 4 star Hotel.
Delightful hosts running the site in conjunction with a B&B and treating the CL users like B&B guests.
The Club should host visits here for other CL site owners to show them how it should be done.
December 2017 Visit
Second visit this year once in summer now in winter no difference lovely couple very friendly Louise and Greg are great hosts. The cl is immaculate and well laid out easy access to all parts of Cornwall. Very peaceful site in beautiful countryside. Can not wait till our return .
Another fantastic stay
Yes , another fantastic stay at Poole Farm ,the family are so welcoming,it's spotless facilities are as good as we have seen ,the site is great to visit Devon and Cornwall now the A30 is open after the roadworks .
Oh the home made jam is a must especially the Cherry.
Carolyn and I hope you all had a well earned break as you all work so hard to make this CL The Best .
We will be back soon
Still the best in the South West
Below is the review I left after our 2016 visit and our return in 2017 found that nothing has reduced in quality or charm at the peaceful Poole Farm . Louise and Greg clearly put a great deal of unseen work into making your stay perfect in every way and whilst we rarely go to the same site more than once we are looking forward to returning next year for our third .
The dog walk has improved and you can now order an excellent breakfast to be brought to you in your caravan . WiFi is good thanks to Greg being an expert in the field and it is provided free of charge , TV reception with a standard aerial is also good . Each pitch has its own tap and EHU .
We cant wait to return to this little haven next year .
2016 Review
From the moment we arrived at both the B&B and the CL, ( we used both as mother in law came too ) Louise , Greg and Harvey's hospitality was second to none even providing tea and biscuits before we unhitched and a cream tea shortly after . While we were there chocolate cake , lemon cake , ice creams and frankly so many other things were generously given to us I lost count however more importantly it felt like being among friends . The B&B facilities , cleanliness and standard of breakfast provided wouldn't shame a five star hotel . The CL pitch sizes are generous and well maintained with a tap each and EHU . The " Hut " houses both a large shower with plenty of space and clean towels daily as well as a loo and sink etc all immaculately clean and warm . We were so pleased that before leaving we booked a return visit . Louise ,Greg and Harvey are a lovely friendly family and we look forward to seeing them again .
Best by Far
We stayed at Poole Farm recently and had the most wonderful stay. Louise, Greg and Harvey made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived even the dog felt part of the welcome.
You could just feel the stresses and worries of everyday life start to fade as so relaxed. The site was spotless and so much information to hand or if you had any query you felt it was no bother to ask. It was the little extras that made it extra special and will always remain an extra special place in our memories. We hope to go back soon and would recommend this site to anyone. Beautifully presented quiet clean site with a feeling of spaciousness and extremely thoughtful and very helpful owners. Set in fabulous countryside with all necessary facilities and more including cream tea on arrival!
To top it all if required and at a good price the best breakfast ever delivered to your pitch along with newspaper.
Lovely walks direct from site.
Nicest CL site ever stayed at and are returning soon.

A perfect Cl Site
We have just returned from our 3rd relaxing visit to Poole Farm. This is a gem of a find and Louise and Greg are the perfect hosts and cannot do enough for you.
The site is immaculately kept, generous sized gravel pitches with adjacent grass area, electric and water hook up, a large enclosed dog field, where our 2 love to have a good run, and 'The Hut' which houses a spotlessly clean shower and toilet (with complimentary toiletries if required) and an information area where you can also purchase home made jams and fresh eggs.
On arrival we are greeted with tea and biscuits, not forgetting biscuits for the dogs too, followed by fresh cream scones and jam, and later on in the week home made cake. You can also order freshly cooked Full English Breakfast and freshly baked pastries delivered to your caravan. They really do know how to spoil you here, such kind gestures.
We couldn't ask for anything more at this site and are looking forward to another return visit next Easter.
Thank you to Louise, Greg and Harvey you always make us feel very welcome and reluctant to leave and not forgetting Rufus
