Do I need Campervan Insurance?

Campervan Insurance is motor cover specific to campervans. It can provide cover towards the cost of repairs or replacement, if your campervan is damaged in an accident, fire, attempted theft or is stolen. It must always provide cover for your legal liability towards third parties, so you're covered if you have an accident causing damage or injury to any other person, vehicle, animal or property. Third-party insurance is a minimum legal requirement if you have a campervan that is being stored or used on the road.

What does our Campervan Insurance cover?

✓ Clothing, non-permanent fixtures and fittings and baggage up to £5000

✓ Up to £75 per night for 15 nights’ overnight accommodation if your motorhome becomes unusable in an accident or loss

✓ New for old cover for up to 24 months from new - no mileage limit

Do I qualify for Campervan Insurance?

Most purpose-built campervans are covered by our Motorhome Insurance policy - we just need to make sure yours fits the same criteria. This should show in your V5 log book (supplied by the DVLA) as a ‘Motor Caravan’ which means you can get a quote online.

If your campervan is not shown as a ‘Motor Caravan’, we'll simply need to talk to you to make sure we give you the right cover, so please call us on 0345 504 0334
