Just spent over 2 weeks at this fabulous relaxing CL to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Louise, Greg, Harvey and not forgetting Rufus made our stay memorable, they were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival with coffee and cake, we also sampled the cooked breakfast and croissants which were all amazing, and arrived at our caravan piping hot. We will not forget Harvey calling round on a hot afternoon with a choice of ice cream. Greg keeps the grounds immaculate and Louise’s cooking skills extend to the preserves and pickles which are available. The Hut is kept immaculate where there is plenty of space for showering. The recycling area, grey waste and chemical toilet emptying site were kept to a high standard. This CL was faultless in our eyes. Louise, Greg & Harvey went over and above to make our stay the best it could be, not forgetting Rufus who loved playing with our dog Ellie in the dog walking area. We cannot wait to return.
Perfect
This is a lovely CL. If the beautiful countryside, peace & quiet, immaculate facilities aren't enough then try the full English breakfast provided by the friendly and welcoming site owners.
I will definitely be going back.
Great CL, first rate
What a fantastic site, it’s the best CL site we have stayed on, lovely welcome on arrival, friendly owners, great location, beautifully maintained site and nice places to visit within a short drive.
The hospitality was exceptional, after we had pitched up, we received a welcome cuppa and some homemade cake, our 2 small dogs also received their own welcome pack, then later on a traditional cream tea, the hospitality didn’t stop there throughout our stay.
Having had a long journey we decided to order breakfast for our first morning “great and very reasonable price”, we also ordered fresh croissants for breakfast during the rest of our stay, it arrive at our caravan at the designated time, a small hut that sold homemade jam’s and chutney’s to order, very tasty.
We will defiantly stay at this site in the future, the owners most defiantly went the extra mile which is why they have consistently won so many awards.
A wonderful little site
A very well kept site with lovely people who couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be back, so see you in June. Thank you so much. Shirley and Skip.

Easter Break
This is a return visit to Poole Farm as we stayed here Christmas 2017 which we received a great welcome then and I have to say we have received the same welcome some 12 months later.
This is a very well thought out CL due to owners being caravan club members and laid out really well with electric and water to each pitch.
The CL has a toilet and shower room for use called “The Hut” but you can be assured it is far from being a hut it is very well decorated and kept immaculate by the owners.
On arrival we received a complimentary lovely cream tea with homemade scones from Louise and as we are here over Easter the owners young son delivered warm homemade Hot Cross buns on good Friday then to top it all and we were astonished when young Harvey came across Easter Sunday with 2 Easter eggs , Easter cake and a lovely array of flowers to wish us happy Easter.
The family here put 150% effort into ensuring you enjoy your stay at Poole Farm and we would highly recommend staying here if you were a couple or family as plenty of room for children to play it really is a super site and kept immaculate.
Thank you for your hospitality Louise , Greg and Harvey , not forgetting Rufus the spaniel.
A wonderful site
This was our first ever outing in our new motorhome. Greg and Louise were just wonderful, so welcoming, and greeted us with a welcome cup of tea. The site was easy to find and access. We could not have picked a better 'first time'. The facilities are superb, pitches are first class and the environment could not be improved. What a great location. Our thanks to Greg and family for such a lovely three days stay. We will return!
What a place!
What a wonderful place! I have stayed at some excellent CL's but Poole Farm takes the biscuit! I was so surprised by Greg's kind offer to make me a cup of tea when I arrived in the pouring rain I said no, thank you! I've never stayed any site, large or small where tea has been offered on arrival! He took time to show me the facilities, and brought me a welcome pack with a lovely hand written card from the family, and details of all the services they offer - newspapers, breakfasts, jam, preserves etc. The hut with the shower, toilet, information room and elsan closet was immaculate at all times, and the complimentary toiletries in there another bonus. As was the cream tea that Greg delivered the following afternoon! The gravel pitches are spacious, with plenty of grass round them, and having a water tap as well as electric to each pitch is great. Phone signal, tv reception, and free WiFi, Greg and Louise seem to have thought of everything. They even managed to arrange a few hours of dry weather for me each day so I could go for walks using the laminated maps so helpfully provided in the Hut! I really couldn't have asked for more. Very much looking forward to my next visit to Poole Farm. Thank you Greg and Louise!

Wonderful
Louise and her husband and Poole Farm are wonderful. The site is in fantastic condition both clean and smart. We have been on many CL's all over the country and believe it or not the cleanliness of the 'facilities' is mostly pretty poor. Poole Farm however was a real blessing on that point, Louise cleaned the facilities every day without fail. Top Marks from us.
Just perfect, 1st visit but not the last.
What a lovely welcome from Louise, showed us round the C.L.and how the "HUT" (shower, toilet, fridge, books and leaflets on the attractions in the area, even O.S maps to borrow along with lots of walking routes) also there were jams etc to purchase. As we set up we were brought a cup of coffee and cake. Then after we had relaxed a superb cream tea was delivered. In the 43 years I have been vanning I have never had a welcome like that. I had a problem connecting the water supply to my aquaroll, Greg provided the extension hose and even made sure it all worked ok. the site is excellent, hardstandings with plenty of grass and all the recycling you possibly want. We had croissants on several days and I had breakfasts all delivered and cooked by Louise, they were superb value and extremely filling.Several days, cakes or biscuits were delivered to the van by Harvey and even the dog Rufus gives you a warm welcome. The whole family deserve to win more awards for the effort they put in, needless to say we have booked for 2019
Thank you once again for a wonderful holiday on your lovely C.L.

Lovely location.
As always an immaculate site,Greg and Louise work so hard to keep the site in tip top condition.Very friendly welcome is very warm, and Louise bake a great cream tea.Site is down a narrow lane, but we have a large caravan, and have not had any problem.Loads to do in the surrounding area,or just sit and enjoy the peace, and nature that surrounds the site.
