Cornish delight

Just spent a week at this fantastic CL. Excellent facilities and a great welcome from David and Diane. Several birdfeeders around the site near to the pitches so you can see the birds coming and going - really lovely You can hear the river Tamar as it flows near the site and there have been sightings of Kingfishers. Close to several places of interest including Clovelly (tourist trap but really lovely) the Tamar Otter centre- really worth a visit. Visited Eden project ( can get a discount via the site but we used Tesco vouchers). Tavistock worth a visit - best not to go on a Monday as the market was closed when we went. If only we lived nearer we could go to this CL for weekends!!

The best CL we have ever used.

We stayed here for 2 nights following on from our 10 month European Tour. We continued the tour around Devon & Cornwall. Picked this site out of the CC handbook and boy are we glad we did. Huge pitches with electric and water, lovely shower room and info hut. We received a lovely welcome and all the info we needed. This site is a credit to David & Diana. And to cap it off wifi is available for £1 a day...MAGIC I too will be voting for this site as CL of the year, this is what every CL should aspire to be like. Thanks Dave & Jan Johnson

Absolutely lovely

My husband and I along with our little dog have just spent two fabulous weeks in the sun at this beautiful little retreat. We were given a very warm welcome. David and Diana are very helpful chatty and friendly. Our pitch was delightful, the best we've ever found , it was more like our own little garden rather than the usual you find as it was so big and well spaced from other caravans. My husband was happy not to have to collect water everyday as each pitch has a tap. The views all round were great. Our dog loved the walkies area it was like a little meadow with a meandering path. It was very pretty with seating as well, Jessie had great fun playing fetch games there. Care is taken with little things like bird feeders dotted around the site and the trees and planting add to the whole setting. David and Diana work very hard to keep it all very nice. The toilet and shower are fine and clean. There's plenty of tourist info around too. All in all the best place we have stayed, and we have stayed at many. Couldn't fault it. When we had a problem with our caravan upon leaving, dave and another guest helped us out, I don't know what we would have done without them. Lovely place, lovely people.

psst ... don't pass it on!!

The site is in an idyllic spot; the owners are on-hand permanently and are always helpful and friendly; pitches are bigger than many club sites and each has its' own water and electricity. The info room and shower/toilet is an added bonus. All in all - a find but don't tell anyone otherwise it will become hard to book.

A warm welcome

What lovely owners of this site. They make you feel so welcome. We stayed here this August (2012). Excellent dog walk, nothing is too much trouble for the owners. Views from the site are lovely. The lanes to the approach are a bit tight at times but worth it when you arrive.
