friendly and welcoming

spent 4 nights here recently. The reception was friendly and very helpful and the site extremely clean. Great spot for families and excellent play facilities with a flattish field for riding bikes. There is lots of choice around here but you won't be disappointed with this option.

Fantastic stay

Spent a fantastic week wish it could have been longer. Toilet block clean and plenty of hot water. Wardens very friendly and always ready to help and give advice about the area. We look forward to returning next year.

Not sure about this site

We stayed here for 11 nights which in hindsight we think was too long for this site. St David's is lovely but it's quiet a drive to Haverfordwest depending on the traffic. St David's gets very busy for parking, especially trying to get to the only supermarket which proved difficult to get too. White sands beach is lovely but very windy. Great for surfers. We highly recommend going to Folly Farm, the Blue Lagoon (book in advance) and  Saundersfoot. Site itself was very busy with people coming and going all the time, therefore the grass was not very well maintained, it was long in areas. For me I thought that cleaning the only toilet block btw 10.30-12.00 was not ideal, needs to be done later. Not all the wardens were that friendly either on this site. If we were come here again would only stay a couple of nights but think next time we'll be staying at the Tenby site!

Much improved

We visited  for few days ,having not stayed at this site for few years. It was far better than memory ,the relocation of the play area made it far more relaxing for couple with no children during school hols. We did miss the radio 2 playing in spotless toilet block .will be returning soon .

Great site...needs some Tlc...

This is probably one of our favourite caravan club sites....Very clean toilet block and facilities....Wardens Very friendly and helpful...love that you can order bread/newspapers on site....I feel this site would benefit from a dog work on site,as dogs are not allowed on the beach...also wifi would great in inclement weather!!.....Due to no fault of the wardens...we feel the site needs a little updating....the entrance and the roads in general...Hardstandings would be a huge plus to this somewhat waterlogged site....

June stay

Lovely site with pristine toilet block. Wonderful coastline with walks nearby. Car parking price a bit steep at nearby Whitesands.

Lleithyr Meadow

The site was lovely and clean and peaceful. The roads leading up to it are a little narrow and caused a few problems! Family have stayed there before and said that the childrens play area has moved from the centre of the field. This was not a problem, however, the large open space was a magnet for the children to play football. Our children were asked to stop playing with their sponge ball by the warden, which they did, but other children seemed to be allowed to play with a leather one! we put up a couple of wind breaks, which many other people did as the site is quite windy, but yet again, we were asked to take them down at night or if we left the site at all. No other people appeared to have to do this. Did our faces not fit? I have to say that we did feel somewhat picked on, and have no idea why. We therefore will not be in any hurry to return to this site, although we have rated it quite well, as the facilities were good and setting was lovely.

Lleithyr Meadow

Great well kept site, lovely walks and cycle tracks. Friendly Wardens and Toilet Facilities very clean. Stayed here many times before and we will probably stay many times again. Don't miss the views of Ramsey Island.

Rules are made to be broken?

Although fairly difficult to get to, because of the winding narrow lanes, St. Davids is ideally situated. Boat trips round Ramsey island and coastal walks, and St. Davids itself. Plus all the attractive villages around. What we didn't like was the noisey people in the adjoining campfield/caravan park, the kids biking round and round all times of day and night and people not picking up dog poo. The dog near us might have been tiny, but still left lots of little messes. The woman who owned it said she had difficulty in bending to pick up after the dog. If you stay here, you must use the bus service. If only for the experience. Good fun.

Fabulous gem of a site - great for all

We have just returned from 4 nights at St Davids, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our 2 children (9 & 7) loved the play park and that there was lots of open space at the site to explore. We walked to the top of Carn Llidi, a must as it is on the doorstep - great view of the site from there too! Wonderfully friendly wardens, very helpful. Facilities were immaculately clean and the site was quite obviously well looked after. We would certainly return and recommend to others.
