We had arrived after a lot of rain had fallen in the previous week, and was worried that the all grass pitch site was going to be slippery and waterlogged. Was pleasantly surprised to find the ground firm and after more rain it still drained well. The site is however exposed and it does get windy, but it is flat. Site facilities are as you would expect and always clean, but seem small in numbers compared to the number of pitches and people. The staff were helpful and the info received on arrival and in the info hut was very good, and there is also a book swap cupboard too. And I was pleased with the fact there are still multiple recycling points around the site.
There is an hourly minibus from outside the gate that does a circular route to St Davids and to the beaches and other interesting places, and there are plenty of cycle routes down quiet country lanes to places like Solva and Porth Clais both or which have a nice cafe at the end. There is also a well stocked shop on the campsite adjacent to this one that sells all essentials.
Would return when this way again
Great quiet site
Quiet when we were here in September. Lovely wardens kept the place clean & tidy. Stool or bench in showers would be appreciated. Lovely walks from site including into st David’s. Whitesands beach no dogs allowed during summer but there are smaller beaches within walking distance although some challenging getting up & down. Would love to return to this site when next in the area.
Excellent site
This is a great site and would come back for sure,

Great location and fabulous site
Loved this site for its location and the Celtic coaster - mini bus service that for £2 one way can drop you at so many lovely beaches. Great walking straight from the site. Route 4 cycle route down the road.
As ever lovely wardens and immaculate.
So recommend, well worth the drive.
Nice site
A nice site, in a lovely area. Several places to visit nearby, and nice eateries in St David's. The local hop on/off bus was a great bonus and very reasonable. The site is well maintained by all of the wardens, who were very friendly, helpful and informative.
Great site with double size pitches
Access to the site is down some fairly narrow roads, so some patience and care may will be required if you’re not used to narrow roads. Had no major issues in a 7.7m motorhome at 2.3m wide.
All grass pitches, so weighing in a 4k kg meant we sank into the grass a bit. But full winter tyres give plenty of grip and a little roll backwards and forwards were enough to get out easily and clean. If there has been heavy rain and you’ve not got winter or M&S stamped tyres you may want to take grip mats with you.
Facilities clean and well maintained - closed between 10:00 and 12:00 daily for cleaning, but access to other toilets available if required. Could do with hose lock system on filler taps to make it easier to fill. Could also do with extra grey waste point, as I would imagine there could be queues when the site is really bust.
East walk in and out of St David’s. Or there is a bus that stops right outside the site gates. Buses are great to get you around the local area,as are e-bikes. Both St David’s and Solva are well worth a visit. Will need to come back again as there is still a lot more to do in the area.
Another visit
5th or 6th visit to this stunning site. The coastal paths all around are such lovely views what with seeing seals and dolphins around the coast. Good easy walk into St Davids.
Amenities block as most club sites are always clean and tidy. Not that i use them as spent all that money on a motorhome and not a tent so no need for shower block..
Have noticed since buying our moho that there seems to be more on the roads and sites now and knowing how long to fill and empty i think all club sites should have at least 2 motorhome service points to stop queing, especially on the smaller sites which dont have room for waiting mohos. Only gripe this trip was grass wasnt cut, they cut the grass on all the areas they had fenced off but not the ones in use. All said and done we will be visiting again and again..
Wonderful location
Great site, walking distance from beautiful Whitesands beach, and perfect location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Hot, free showers, friendly helpful staff.
Only suggestion would be to put something in the shoes to put your clothes on, a stool or something
Very pleasant site.
My wife and I were visiting friends in the area, so spent a few days popping on and off the site. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were very friendly.
First grass pitch
What a beautiful site with such wonderful surroundings. Site location and facilities were superb - amazing walk into St David's and along the picturesque coastal path. This was our first time on a grass pitch and presented with no problems on this really peaceful site. We will definitely return in the future.
