Pleasant Location.

We have just returned from 10 days here. Wardens very welcoming and hard working .Facilities spotless. Approaching lane a bit narrow but not too problematic. Once there pitching is very straightforward - good if a first timer. Pitches fairly flat so levelling pretty easy.  Take plenty of rock pegs as site catches the wind. Lovely walks from site to a little cove which dogs can run free on. St. David's a very interesting city.  I'm sure we'll revisit again.

Although the site was full I never had to queue for the showers or loos.

Great position

St David's is a lovely place and a good walk from the site. The facilities the usual high CC standard but, can be a long walk from your pitch, for the size of the site we thought they could do with more. The site is quite exposed and there seems a constant wind, there are very few sheltered pitches, most awnings we noticed had storm guys. There was heavy rain whilst we were there and had no problem driving on and off the pitch, I didn't see any grass damage so it must be well drained. The bay is lovely, as are the coastal walks. Driving around the area could be a problem as lanes are narrow. It is a large site, but although there is a 'childrens' playground I didn't see any ball play areas, we were there out of school holidays but not sure how 'older children' entertain themselves. The site was full when we were there so choice of pitch was limited, it would benefit from more hedging to provide some shelter from the wind. Overall, lovely site in a great position near the coast. St David's is definitely worth a visit. One final point, the bus stops at the gate, we didn't use it but seems a great service.

Another enjoyable stay

We always enjoy staying at Llethyr Meadow, it is very well run, the facilities are remarkable and the surroundings wonderful. The wind can be a bit of a problem, but with sensible siting and secure awnings etc. should be no problem. St. Davids is a very interesting and magical place, full of history, as well as the beautiful beaches and coastal paths. Plenty of interest too for Art and Craft lovers, we will be back again soon.

Very good all grass site

Despite being on grass, the site is mud free (despite some heavy rain) and level. Motorhomes will not have a problem here. The approach involves some narrow roads and a sign to a similarly named site that can lead you astray if you have not paid attention to the Club directions and satnav cautions. What a shame there is no Club sign/arrow on the Whitesands Bay road. Very helpful and friendly wardens who offered post check-in help as well as some local information on where to go. They will also supply newspapers. There is a very good toilet block but no dog walk. There are, however, good and convenient walks just beyond the site entrance. There is no wi-fi offer but 3G phone and TV reception is good.

Excellent Campsite

Excellent campsite,we stayed only two nights in August. Really warm welcome from the Warden, she was so helpful. Usual high Caravan Club standards. Useful bus service from campsite entrance going to Whitesands beach and St.Davids.  We shall be back for a longer stay.

Immaculate site

Friendly staff, good shop, brilliant facilities. Good location near the beach, circular local bus to either the beach or to St David's. It is a little windy (to be expected), but if you get one of the pitches behind the big hedge on the western edge of the site, you're fairly sheltered.

A coastal experience

We have just returned from our trip to Pembrokeshire. This was our second stay at Lleithyr Meadow and was just as enjoyable. The staff and campers were friendly and the site was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the croissants that we ordered on site. From the site the coastal path and quiet lanes for cycling were easily accessible. A handy circular bus service would take us into 'the city' and on to further attractions. Wonderful sunsets can be viewed from Whitesands beach and a visit to Porthgain is a must to sample the delicious fish and chips or a meal at The Sloop Inn.

Great site

A quiet site but perfect for our young family. Everyone was really friendly and it was ideal for me and my hobby surfing. Whitesands is just down the road - walkable. The water is crystal clear and for August we were lucky to get 2-3 swells which was great for both surfing and kids body boarding. Highly recommend the site, although do follow site directions if towing.

The Perfect Spot

At first glance I had concerns about the approach to this site as we have a twin axle caravan, but although a narrow lane in parts we negotiated it with ease.  Do however avoid early evening as you will meet cars etc leaving the beach which is at the end of the road.  The site is perfect for visiting St Davids and surrounding areas.  Its very spacious and the facilities are Caravan Club standard.  The Wardens are very friendly and helpful and keen to help with any questions or problems.  The rooks were not an issue for us, in fact we found them quite amusing.  A very well designed children play area which is fenced off.  Watch out for children riding their bikes particularly after dark.  I would recommend this site and we will certainly try to return.
