Site was clean and well maintained. Facilities always clean. Standard was excellent. If you are looking for a getaway this site is great. Quiet at this time of year ( beginning of November). Great location.
Bunree we will be back
We stopped here at the end of September 2017 for 10 days. The site is very exposed but hey you don't go to Scotland for unbroken sunshine. The location is superb and we found access to the site no problem. The on site dog walk is very limited. Pitches on the waters edge are beautiful however when the wind blows its time to batten down the hatches.
If you like Glen Coe and Ben Nevis the rule of thumb is ,- if you can see the far end of the loch then the "Ben" is likely to be mist free.
Loved the drying room it was much needed.
Are we coming back again ? Most definitely yes.
TV reception was good Wifi was average I certainly would not call it Gold standard.
When all is said and done many many happy memories

Wonderful relaxing site
I couldnt miss the Caravan Club entrance sign showing the entrance,, driving through the traffic light narrow entrance gives you a feeling of entering a special reclusive area with the river on the right hand side and the loch view opening up ahead as you arrive at the check in was magical, I could feel myself relaxing immediately. The girl at check in was very friendly and welcoming, everything was explained, poor wifi was the only negative
Fantastic stay
We have been to this site several times and it remains one of our favourite in Scotland. We had a pitch right by the Loch and the views were incredible. The Ardnamurchan peninsula across the ferry is stunningly beautiful - although the roads beyond Strontian are a challenge! The weather wasn’t very good during our stay - hurricane Ophelia hit one night and one of the site roads was flooded - but the staff were very helpful and all did an excellent job keeping the site clean and tidy.
I really should not give this five stars because others will want to go there.
This was our first experience of a campsite and it did not disappoint. The pitch was excellent, staff were so helpful and friendly and all the facilities were clean and tidy. I fear that it will be difficult to match this quality anywhere else! What a fantastic start to our caravanning experiences.
Thank you very much to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, not only the wardens but also those who maintain the grounds and do the cleaning - if not for you this place would not be the perfection that it is.
Cannot begin to recommend the site highly enough, but unfortunately, I'm my own undoing as I'm sure that on reading this and other reviews the site can only increase in popularity...
We will be back, impossible not to return. Again and again.
Wonderful location
Bunree site is a perfect location for visiting the Great Glen. The site is tidy, clean and welcoming.
The views from every pitch are amazing. From watching otters to seeing shipping passing by there is so much to look at from the site. Only a short distance from the Corran Ferry which gives access to Ardnamurchan and Strontian.
Everything about this site was exactly as it should be. We will certainly be visiting again.

Our favourite CC site without a doubt!
What can we say about this site that hasn't already been said. The views were amazing and the sunsets we experienced were truly jaw dropping, one evening there must have been nearly everybody out with their cameras trying to capture the dying sun. The wardens were very helpful and nice. We found a pub about 15 mins walk away, or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous you could walk down to the nearby ferry to Ardgour which is free for foot passengers and do the walk around the forest and a pint in the Ardgour Inn before the 10 minute trip back to Corran. The walks in the area are suitable for every ability from those with very limited mobility right up to alpine junkies. We paid 25p for a local walking guide at the reception and did some great walks. For me the only thing that really annoyed us was the fact that we were near the motor home tank dumping spot and why oh why do you motor homers have to keep your engines running when you are doing this ??? It is such a beautiful spot so why waste your diesel polluting the atmosphere and causing annoyance, we just could not understand why you would do this and sometimes quite early in the morning??? Other than that, a fab weeks stay👍
Fantastic Site
Stayed for a long weekend with two small children. The site is peaceful with absolutely stunning views. We found the facilities to be in good working order and kept to a good level of cleanliness. The staff were extremely helpful and always on hand. The kids loved the play park and we took plenty of walks by the loch side. Overall we had a fantastic experience and will be back in the new year.
