Breathtaking views and an immaculate site

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and had the site plan explained to us, we found a pitch we liked and we settled in, the wardens were very friendly and helpful, the views are breathtaking , it would be worthwhile booking in advance for a lochside pitch but you cannot put up an awning on these pitches understandably. There was an area for the dogs to exercise and a lovely walk from the site to the waterfalls, where the dogs could be let off the lead. This is a great site if you like peace and quiet. Thanks for a great visit

Piece of Paradise

Stunning, small, immaculate site. If cycling or walking is your thing then take the Corran ferry which is a 10 min walk from the site - ferry is free for passengers and bicycles - cross the loch which takes 5mins, then go right or left! We enjoyed 4 days of tremendous cycling on deserted roads. The views are spectacular. Just wonderful!

Wanted to stay longer!

Thank you for a lovely Easter long weekend!! This is one of the best sites I have been too; even with a busy Easter weekend, the sites are organized in a way that you never felt on top of your neighbours. Wardens very helpful, great views and close to some amazing walks in Glencoe. Cant wait to go back. CT

First visit to this site

Excellent site staff very friendly facilities spotless views fantastic when no low cloud. Agree with fellow member due to the condition of the road surface in some areas driving can be challenging. Plenty of scenic walks is good for the outdoor family.

Late Arrival

We arrived late after a very long diversion. It was dark when we arrived. However the staff member was welcoming. We awoke to a very nice view across the Loch. Probably the main attraction to this site. The facilities were ok - fairly standard for a club site, but given the size of the site there didn’t seem to be many. However as there were very few pitches occupied it wasn’t a problem for us. No radio

Beautiful Setting

Site was clean and well maintained. Facilities always clean. Standard was excellent. If you are looking for a getaway this site is great. Quiet at this time of year ( beginning of November). Great location.

Bunree we will be back

We stopped here at the end of September 2017 for 10 days. The site is very exposed but hey you don't go to Scotland for unbroken sunshine. The location is superb and we found access to the site no problem. The on site dog walk is very limited. Pitches on the waters edge are beautiful however when the wind blows its time to batten down the hatches. If you like Glen Coe and Ben Nevis the rule of thumb is ,- if you can see the far end of the loch then the "Ben" is likely to be mist free. Loved the drying room it was much needed. Are we coming back again ? Most definitely yes. TV reception was good Wifi was average I certainly would not call it Gold standard. When all is said and done many many happy memories

Wonderful relaxing site

I couldnt miss the Caravan Club entrance sign showing the entrance,, driving through the traffic light narrow entrance gives you a feeling of entering a special reclusive area with the river on the right hand side and the loch view opening up ahead as you arrive at the check in was magical, I could feel myself relaxing immediately. The girl at check in was very friendly and welcoming, everything was explained, poor wifi was the only negative

Fantastic stay

We have been to this site several times and it remains one of our favourite in Scotland. We had a pitch right by the Loch and the views were incredible. The Ardnamurchan peninsula across the ferry is stunningly beautiful - although the roads beyond Strontian are a challenge! The weather wasn’t very good during our stay - hurricane Ophelia hit one night and one of the site roads was flooded - but the staff were very helpful and all did an excellent job keeping the site clean and tidy.

I really should not give this five stars because others will want to go there.

This was our first experience of a campsite and it did not disappoint. The pitch was excellent, staff were so helpful and friendly and all the facilities were clean and tidy. I fear that it will be difficult to match this quality anywhere else! What a fantastic start to our caravanning experiences. Thank you very much to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, not only the wardens but also those who maintain the grounds and do the cleaning - if not for you this place would not be the perfection that it is. Cannot begin to recommend the site highly enough, but unfortunately, I'm my own undoing as I'm sure that on reading this and other reviews the site can only increase in popularity... We will be back, impossible not to return. Again and again.
