Another week here with the worst weather we have ever had. In spite of this, sitting in the van overlooking the Loch is wonderful. Lots of rare birds go by e.g. great northern diver, and the surroundings are full of flowers. It is a good location for visiting other wildlife sites and the Corran ferry is only 1 mile away to visit the Ardnamurchan Pennsular. The site is very well kept and is very peaceful.
Spectacular lochside pitches
If this is not the most beautiful location for a Caravan Club site then please tell me where we should go next!! A brilliant centre for exploring the West Coast and particularly Fort William, a few days was not enough so we will be back. Everything on the site was as you'd expect but more and lastly if there is a "warden of the year" award we want to nominate Linda for her total smiling commitment to customer care!!!

Beautiful site
This has to be one of the most spectacular settings of any site on the network. Set on the shores of Loch Lhinne and views of the mountains of the Knoydart peninsular across the water. The site itself is of the usual high standard you would expect of the club, but in addition almost every pitch (the ones directly behind the toilet block are the exceptions) have views towards the Loch and Mountains. Access to the Knoydart peninsular is easy using the Corran ferry which very close or by the scenic drive along the Fort William to Mallaig road via Lochailort, we went this way after visiting mallard first and returned by ferry, a spectacular day out.The site well situated for site seeing in all directions or for Ben Nevis for those feeling up to it. All in all this site is well worth a visiting can only be described as stunning.
Jaw droppingly lovely
Absolutely perfect location but get there soon after opening time if you want a loch side pitch. Facilities up to the excellent standard of Caravan club sites. We will certainly be back
Jaded but a lovely location
Poor signposting to site. The signpost is right on the turning to the site and can easily be missed,it needs to be a few grad before. Toilets are old although kept very clean they are somewhat jaded and the showers emit a little more than a trickle of hot water. The site is in a beautiful setting fabulous views from almost every pitch and the site is looked after well by the wardens. With an upgrade to the facilities this would be a 5* site.
A warm Scottish Welcome.
And when I say a warm welcome the staff here are the most helpful that my husband and I have had the pleasure to meet. Nothing was too much trouble - even booking another site for us. Views to die for and immaculately kept site. We hope to return next year. Thank you for making our holiday so pleasurable.

Ball Games and Kite Flying permitted?
While we were there we saw multiple games of football and a kite been flown for a long time around the caravans which surprised me as it is not normally permitted but as nothing was done about it I assume it is not stopped here. This would put me off as it makes our dog go nuts wanting to join in
Stunning Location - Tired Facilities
Stayed here on Thursday 2 April 2015, just for the one night whilst enjoying a short break in the area. My wife and I last visited Bunree 20 years ago this September and the location is still beautiful and stunning. The wardens maintain an immaculate site and the facilities were spotless. However, the whole amenity block is now looking tired and dated and in need of a Full Refurbishment. This is a great site and would probably rate amongst the Best In Scotland if not the UK if the Caravan Club spent some money on the amenity block.
A must visit site
lovely site ,warm welcome by all campsite wardens on arrival. first class facilities . will be back.
Wonderful Site
Best site we have ever visited! Amazing location, immaculate and well thought out facilities, friendly wardens.
We will return!
