The site with wonderful views

This is a lovely site and we would like to thank the wardens for being so understanding in finding a suitable pitch for my husband who finds slopes difficult due to his heart condition.  There are wonderful views and a lovely walk along the loch edge.  Close to the Corran ferry for a lovely trip to the Sunart peninsula where the rhododendrons line the road in springtime and early summer.

Beautiful location

We have stayed on many sites and this must be one of the best. The only comment regards the wardens. In general they were helpful, but sometimes when someone has a problem they should sit on their rule book and listen. We had a problem that had to be sorted and they just kept referring to the rules. Thankfully we got it sorted without their help.

Spectacular views

Stayed here as our last stop before leaving Scotland to head for the Lake District. We had varied weather from beautiful sunshine through to mist and rain but nothing spoilt it for us. The staff were friendly, the views spectacular and the facilities were excellent, loved the drying room for those items I daren't put in the tumble drier. Plenty of places to visit nearby but when the weather is fine I could stay on site all day and look at the scenery. Excellent walk for dogs especially those that liked water. Wifi was quite slow but then there were a lot of mountains about. We shall return definitely.

Brilliant Bunree

This site never fails to amaze,  we came here last year and hope to come again next too.  The views are spectacular and you are so conveniently placed to see all the places of interest too.  Weather wasn't as kind as last year but would very much recommend a fish supper at Oban.  A jewel in the crown of a Caravan Club site 10/10.

Stunning!

Possibly the most beautiful caravanning location in the British Isles. Definitely worth the long drive from the South of England!

Lovely location.

Lovely location and good facilities. My only issue is the level of the pitches, they are often sloping for and aft but also sideways, making it difficult to get a motorhome level. When putting in pitches does the Club not take the levels into account? Based on the site fees I expect to have a level pitch at least one way anyway.

Just about perfect! May 2015

Just about, refers only to the atrocious weather. The site is easy to find, is quite open and as such you do feel as if you are on top of each other although the pitches are well spaced out. There are no natural barriers breaking the site up but having said that it is a great site in a wonderful location. The views are stunning (see my review on Altnaharra) and this is Scotland at its best albeit most of the time we were their we couldn't see across the loch for the rain and the mist! No shops nearby but Fort William only a short drive away with lots to keep you occupied. There are a couple of pubs/restaurants a short walk from the site but I didn't venture into any again due to the weather. There are lots of great walks from the site and the dog walking around the site is good. Once again very helpful and friendly wardens. One point to be aware of is that is if you end up in the middle of the site your views are badly obscured by other units so every day when people leave there is a mad rush to move to the front and probably more so when the weather is nice.

Great few days away

Spend four days here in May and loved it, the walks just minutes from the site are great and lots of them! Not to far from Fort William and lots to do there and lots of shopping to. Great site a must visit on your travels, my only niggle was when we arrived was at night and the sign at the bottom of the road wasnt great to find or see. Watch out for it and dont drive past it like we did!
