My wife Carol our Cocker Spaniel Eddie and I stayed at Poole Farm in May 2017.
We have read the reviews from others who have been lucky enough to stay on this GEM of a CL, and wholeheartedly agree with every comment, and the words complimenting the owners are totally deserved.
Being relative Newbies to the club, and to Motorhoming itself, I suspect that we have been totally spoilt by our choice of first CL to stay on, we now wonder if all CL's are of this standard, we suspect that this one might be a One off. Other CL owners please have a look at this site.
Meeting Louise, Greg, Harvey and Rufus is a total pleasure, they are the nicest family that you could wish to meet. Greg's patience with me as I tried for the first time too position and inflate my new awning was saintly, instead of the 8 minutes I was told, it took considerably more time, and a few choice words, obviously out of Harvey's hearing. Thank you also to our neighbours, especially Charles, for his help and the loan of the correct implement.
The site and its facilities are spotless, and the dog run amazing, Eddie loved his new found freedom, and Rufus.
We didn't avail ourselves too the cooked breakfast available for delivery, but will do on our next visit, which hopefully won't be too far away.
My wife Carol, was completely in awe with the nice touches, the cream tea on arrival, and the HUT, were you can buy homemade preserves and there is a fridge for use. Literature for local places of interest was very well kept and up to date. The shower was spotless.
We could go on singing the praises of Poole Farm, but the best praise we can give it is to return again, and hope that we can return sooner rather than later.
Thanks again to Louise, Greg, Harvey and Rufus for making our stay so lovely, we were sad to leave but work called.
Regards
Carol, Paul and Eddie
WE DIDN'T LIKE THIS CL... WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT !!
We read the reviews and were convinced. Now that we've spent two weeks with Louise and Greg we can assure members that you can believe what you read ! The previous reviews do not in any way flatter their fabulous CL. Louise and Greg are on site and hands on, committed to looking after their CL guests in an extraordinarily affable way, never intrusive but generous and caring. If you are about to make a booking (and you should !) you are in for a real treat. A real 5 star with distinction.
A Lovely Site
The site was beautifully kept everywhere was clean and well maintained. Set in a quiet rural location with nice views. We (and our dogs) were made very welcome, starting with the offer of tea/coffee on arrival, treats for the dogs, cream tea, papers delivered to the caravan each morning and croissants or cooked breakfast as required. The dogs made the most of the large dog run while we sat on the swing seat and enjoyed the view. Would highly recommend this site.
A jewel amongst CL`s
What a fantastic CL this is, the owners Louise and Greg put their heart and soul into making this a truly amazing site. The shower Hut is kept immaculately clean and also boasts a small selection of homemade jams and Chutneys as well as plenty of information for visitor attractions. The generous sized pitches are well maintained by Greg and each one has it`s own Electric and water point, adjacent to the CL is a good sized dog walking Area . The touches Louise adds are what makes this a must to stay at from a cream tea when you arrive, to, if ordered the day before, a full English breakfast made with the best local ingredients delivered piping hot to your pitch at a time of your choice for a very reasonable price. We have yet to find a CL that comes close to Poole Farm, we have been coming here 3 years now and every time we go Louise and Greg have somehow managed to improve on perfection, we can`t wait to go back in September.

Poole Farm is a such credit to Louise, Greg and Harvey they are a exceptional family and we wish them continuing success the site is beyond belief for its special 'eye to detail' and extra 'homely touches'. We are so looking forward to our 3rd visit in early June to spend 2wks in a tranquil and beautiful spot on the gateway to the beautiful county of Cornwall. We will also be booking into 2018 please same time, same pitch and same hospitality. See you all soon Jeannette & Ash, Daisy Tess and Rosie xxx
We are looking forward to seeing you all again very soon... The kettle will be on and our Springer Spaniel Rufus will be waiting to meet you all. Roll on June. Lou, Greg and Harvey @ Poole Farm

Poole Farm - This is our perfect CL site.
Louise and Gregg always make us welcome. This has got to be our best ever CL.
A peaceful setting and great facilities makes this our top place to go. Good walking from here and before that a spectacular full English breakfast. We just love it. Be back soon!!!!
Another lovely stay
This is our 4th stay at this wonderful C.L. the owners Louise and Gregg always have a warm welcome for you and their son Harvey is such a nice lad helped with the awning which is always good. Louise called over after we had set up with a home made cream tea to start the holiday off. The weather over the Easter week was perfect and we had a couple of Barb Q ues and a new addition this year the owners will cook a full English Breakfast or Continental if required and deliver to you caravan at the time you specify and excellent value. This along with the shower and W.C. Facilities in the hut you just cant want for more, we have already booked 2 more stays here so thank you and we are looking forward to being back with you soon.
Mark and Karen.
Five star CL as always!
Greg & Louise take pride in their site and treat their touring customers the same as their B&B guests!
We had a lovely peaceful break and as always Greg & Louise were friendly and helpful.
Thanks for all your help and the delicious cream tea!
Hope to see you soon!

Bird Spotters Paradise
This was our first time on an adults only CL site, as our boys are a little older now, and we were most impressed. The attention to detail was outstanding and we were very spoilt by Louise, Greg and Harvey with the treats they brought to us during our stay. Anyone interested in birds would not have to move very far as there was quite a variety arriving on the bird feeders throughout the day - we even saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker. The weather for April was superb, although I think we were just lucky, or maybe the weather is always lovely on this site!
