Lovely site

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Wonderfully quiet surroundings, beautifully maintained site and Louise, Greg and Harvey have made us feel very welcome. There are some well considered nice little extra touches which made this a very special place to stay.

Super owners super cl. We were very fortunate to spend 2 nights here due to a cancellation and wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect Location.

We have just returned from Poole Farm and have rebooked again to stay at this wonderful location. LouiseGreg and Harvey welcomed us and we were given some home made cake along with a welcome cup of tea. The pitches and facilities are the best you are likely to see and we spent some time visiting Cornish harbours, Devons country houses and back for a bar be que on the evening. Big thank you to the lovely owners for making a well needed holiday perfect and look forward to returning.

Caravanner's paradise

After some less than ideal experiences on CLs we arrived a Poole Farm with a little trepidation. Wow what a surprise, we were met with a warm welcome and tea and biscuits. The site is immaculate, with lovely "hut" bathroom and EHU and water on each pitch. really peaceful and relaxing, Louise, Greg and Harvey always available but not intrusive. Really loved sitting in the swing seat at the top of the hill. All this and wifi too -best of both worlds. Looking forward to going back.

Fantastic site.

A superb site with spacious pitches, great location, an enclosed dog walk and can't praise Louise, Greg and Harvey enough for their hospitality. We have been touring for over 20 years and this site is the best. Louise baked some delicious cakes and her Italian lemon cake was to die for. Many thanks for making our stay so pleasurable and hope to visit again soon.

Poole Farm

Outstanding site that easily rivals commercial sites near twice the price. However, a commercial site could never offer the relaxing atmosphere and the friendly and warm reception from the owners.

What hasn't been said already?

We have just returned from a 5-day stay at Poole Farm in our motorhome. It's one of the most tranquil sites we've ever stayed on, with uninterupted views over green fields and the sound of the River Tamar only a couple of hundred yards away. The pitches are generous, all hard-standing with individual EHU and fresh water taps. In one corner of the site is The Hut which houses a large shower unit, toilet and hand basin. Everything is spotless and would do credit to a good B&B or guest house. There is also a 'fridge which guests are able to use if their own 'cellar' is full. All these facilities are complimentary. As is the warm welcome from Louise, Greg and son Harvey. On arrival a cup of tea is offered, and during our stay we received ice creams and cakes which was also complimentary. I cannot think of anything else which could be done to make a visitor feel more welcome. This CL will become a regular for us.

Our second visit to Poole Farm and the site is still worthy of it's CL of the year award. The high standard which gained this award has been upheld by the new owners, Greg and Louise. Many thanks for the warm welcome. As my profile pic shows, it really is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

A really great site

You can well see why this is an award winning site, the grounds are very well kept, the reception from the owners second to none. The site on the Devon and Cornwall border makes it an ideal base to explore both counties.

Bliss

An outstanding site. This is our first CL site, but certainly won't be our last. Very warm welcome by Greg and Louise, whose surname must be Heinekin, as it is most probably the best site in the world! The only problem I can see with this site is that it is so good, you will have to book years in advance! If peace and tranquility is your bag, this fits it perfectly. We will be back. Kelvin and Karen.
