Lovely site

On arrival we were greeted by friendly wardens, who continued to be courteous, helpful and hardworking throughout our stay. The toilet block was kept in a pristine condition. Thank you to all the wardens. The site is quite open, although separated by Devon Banks the areas were still quite open. There are stunning views of the surrounding hills, if only the wardens could control the mists and low cloud! Woolacombe is a very sweet village but the beach is magnificent and patrolled by lifeguards, plus lovely pasties and ice creams are an added bonus. Although a little journey by car, our favourite day was spent at Clovelly. A very steep cobbled, vehicle free old village. Thank you to the wardens for making our stay so pleasant.

fantastic site

This was our first visit to this site. The lady warden was very welcoming nice and smiley. The site is huge with very spacious pitches. We were spoilt for choice but pitched up in a nice sunny area just past the immaculate shower block. The grass pitches were beautify maintained.  A gated path led to the local pub or further coastal walks. It's just a short drive to Woolacombe which has a huge sandy beach and a delightful little town....beware of thieving seagulls who will dive bomb you and steal your food!  We had a lovely stay here and will definitely be coming back

Fantastic peaceful holiday

Relaxed site with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. If being very fussy the shop is small so limited to basic supplies but didn't prove a problem for us. The play area is just the right size for what we were looking for. The pitch size was very spacious, the toilets cleanliness was excellent and the showers were hot and powerful. The toddler room and key control to it was a fantastic addition and our 3 year old was very impressed by the childrens toilet. Thank you for a wonderful stay we would definitely stay here again.

Our Favorite Place

Whenever we think of getting away we immediately think of Willingcott. We have stayed so many times that the staff probably think they'll never get rid of us :) The site is not only lovely and clean, with great facilities but the Site Managers & Under Managers are just lovely. Always so friendly and helpful. Rain, Wind or Shine, this place is just great! A real credit to the CC Club. Thank you Willingcott and see you again in July & August.

Lovely site

This site is a beautiful site and the Wardens do a fantastic job keeping the facilities clean and the grounds looking lovely. The wardens are very helpful and the site is one of the best we have stayed at. The first part of our stay was before the bank holiday with the school half term starting whilst we were there, what a difference ! It is such a shame that some parents just let their children run wild and treat the whole site as a play area. The wardens workload increased ten fold as cleaning the washrooms and toilets was a task in itself due to people not taking care! We are definitely not anti children but anti neglectful parents. However, the site it is still a credit to the club and we will definitely go back.

Ideal location

Stayed here over half term, although nearly full site did not feel crowded due to pitching, facilities good and showers/toilets very clean.  Took bikes in car to Braunton where we picked up Tarka Trail and rode to Instow and back - 20 miles round trip.  At Lynmouth had a ride on Cliff Railway - £3.70 for adult return &£2.20 for child return (no family tickets)  Good crazy golf in Ilfracombe - £3 for adults & £2.50 for children.  Had a meal at Chichester Arms in Mortehoe, lovely food and good value

Fantastic 11 Nights

Our first stay at this site, directions were clear and easy to understand, on arrival we received a very friendly warm welcome, and were told the usual details as you would expect. The site facilities are to a very high standard and very well kept. Wardens extremely friendly. Great to have the dog walk on old railway track right next door, and safe enough to let dogs off lead. Would definitely return

Gorgeous May week

Easy site to get to, a queue for the lights in Braunton is to be expected at peak times but otherwise nice journey. Great site, wonderful facilities, very clean, lots of showers and toilets and brand new too! Loads of different types of pitches/areas within the site. Dog walk is not brilliant ad it's just a converted railway line but lots of walking around the area & our dog loved the dunes above Woolacombe beach. The village itself and beach are fantastic one of my favourite places. Travelled about to Colvelly, Westward Ho! Instow all fabulous too. Site is immaculate, wifi not the fastest and tv & phone reception just about OK but for peace and quiet, great site, fabulous seaside town you can't beat this place!
