I am now in my 2nd Year travelling around the UK and this place is the up at the top of my list to return the staff were warm and welcoming and were a pleasure to meet. The local area for walking or cycling is safe and transport by bus could not have been easier.
When we leave we will have stayed here for 6 nights. The site is large and well kept, Wardens all friendly and helpful and the new toilet block is great. There are two places for food and drink, both dog friendly, within a 10 minute walk down a cycle path behind the site. Other great places to visit include Clovelly, Baggypoint, Mortehoe, Croyd, Ilfracombe, Putsborough Beach is all dog friendly too. Today we are off to Lynton and Lynmouth. Unfortunately you can't walk into Woolocombe from the site (only on the road) but you can catch a bus. There is a post office and cash machine in Woolacombe and the Spar garage also does takeaway pizza, though we haven't tried this yet. All in all, great site, lots of dog friendly things to do and after a day out exploring two places for food and a drink only a very short walk from site.
Have been using this site for many years Wardens this year are working extremely hard keeping the site well maintained they seemed to be working all hours whilst we were there always looking happy. If you have not been to this site PLEASE put it on your list you won't regret it if by chance it is overcast on site go down to Woolacombe beach or in land you will find a different world. Just one thought for members my wife found that one member was very free with her talcum powder in the shower leaving a mess for the wardens to clean up not only that it is very dangerous for other users of the shower. Please be considerate..Thank you
We stayed at willingcott at Easter for a week. We found the site easy to find and even our 8m long van found the entrance and approach lane ok as long as it was approached from Woolacombe side. All the wardens we came in contact with where friendly and efficient - we noticed they always seemed busy. The site and facilities where very well kept.
The only minor critism we have is that although there has been major investment on fantastic new shower and laundry facilities that the rear access has no pathway. As the ground was very wet and our pitch was at the rear of the block it meant either wearing shoes to go to the showers or getting dirty feet on the way back. Maybe the CC have plans to install a pathway.
We would certainly go back if we had plans to visit that part country again.
This site was our first one year ago, the return visit was just as good. The staff are great, remembered us from Hill Head - Another great site - earlier in the year. Facilities are perfect and the whole site is just so welcoming and perfectly placed for enjoyment and relaxation. We will be back again.
This was our first caravanning experience and what a fabulous site! We had a great welcome and chose our own pitch as it wasn't busy when we arrived. The facilities were immaculate, very well maintained. So much to do locally and a short walk to a pub that allows dogs.
I would definitely go again, thank you x
Excellent site, good location, very helpful and friendly wardens, facilities fantastic, very clean, liked that there was a path to the local pub good place to eat. Well situated for travelling around Devon and Cornwall, will recommend to friends and will definitely return. Well done Wardens you are doing a good job.

An immaculate site with very good facilities. The toilet block is spacious, well-equipped, clean and warm! On arrival we received a very warm welcome, and were given a choice of pitches as the site was not busy. The site is very well placed for accessing the Tarka Trail. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
Great Easter weekend, facilities very clean and first class, Wardens very helpful and friendly as always. A nice quiet site but with in easy reach of beaches and lots of things to do.
Lovely spacious site. Welcoming and helpful staff with excellent facilities. Had a great week in March, weather unusually warm and sunny which made the difference. Good coastal walks but all uphill back to the site. Used taxi a couple of times which were a bit expensive for the distance covered. Croyde is a lovely village nearby but may be different come surfing season as the area is geared up for this as is Woolacoombe .
