Peace and quiet.

We have just returned from Willingcott and we were very impressed with the clean, roomy showers and such a treat to be able to pick the temperature of the water. The site was kept so tidy and the bins emptied daily. We used the bike path into Ilfracombe but it is steep into town so a good workout back up. Good bus service from the main road which is a short walk from the site. We would definitely use this site again.

Great Site and location

Had a lovely time at this site, great location, convenient for all attractions, wardens friendly and the toilets kept very clean.  Just a word of caution, as the site is high up it can and does get windy and a sea mist, it's Devon after all. Only complaint I had was the standard of wi-fi, very slow, but you where warned before with a hand out. Would go again.

Luxury Camping Beautiful Location

Beautiful well kept site, friendly wardens, FANTASTIC loo block and no dreadful piped music! Excellent location to for Woolacombe beach and glorious walks along the coastal path. Plenty to go and see if the weather is bad in easy distance of site. The site is prone to low cloud and heavy mist when the weather is so inclined but driving down to beach the weather can be clear. Definitely recommend  the site for family or couples (out of season).

love love love this site

wonderful site. Facilities and Grounds all kept ultra clean and tidy. Wardens this year are truly lovely. Always have a smile:) It's a lovely site for families and there is a great playing area, it's not the quietist of sites due to the popularity of the site but this doesn't bother us as we have two children, but we love it. can't wait to return!

Great location for North Devon coast

Once we had got used to the 'rules' of staying on a caravan club site (our first) such as no hard ball games and no pitching where the white peg is hidden behind the hookup pillar and had been reprimanded accordingly we settled into this wonderfully located and immaculately maintained site. Wash block is the best we have seen, anywhere. Peace & Quiet is only slightly affected by the neighbouring commercial site which can be a bit noisy. The children's play area was not of enough interest to keep our 9 and 11 year olds occupied and the approach to the site is a bit nerve racking due to blind and narrow corners, but apart from that we can't fault the site and will definitely use again for holidays at our favourite beach at Woolacombe and walking in North Devon. P.S the neighbouring Old Mill Pub is also very nice but a bit tricky to walk to which is a shame.

Excellent site

This was our first time visiting Willingcott, the wardens were friendly, pleasant  and helpful, given that I was taken poorly during our stay the wardens were able direct us to the nearest and best medical centre with ease. The public areas were immaculate throughout, even down to the external wetsuit washing area. Our only complaint would be our pitch, being grass since there were no hard standings left the heavens opened and our awning simply flooded, not at all enjoyable since our eldest child was sleeping in that particular area.  As most other guests has said access is through a narrow lane but once on site you can breath again! The site was very quiet, clean and overall very pleasing.

Summer Break

A great site with welcoming, friendly, conscientious wardens. The site itself is immaculate, as are the facilities. There are a couple of pubs within reasonable walking distance, as well as some larger holiday parks with varied facilities for kids and adults. As mentioned elsewhere, the roads in the area are quite narrow, but as long as you aren't in a hurry are easliy navigable. Easy parking for motorhomes was a bit of a problem but if you head for the Lorry/coach parks you won't go far wrong. Lynton has motorhome specific spaces which is great to see. Lovely area with some great cliff walks.

Fun Times!!

Returned for our 7th visit to this site. We really love the location and the surrounding area. Excellent walks on Woolacombe beach, beers in Bar Electric and fishing from Ilfracoombe, this time we went out on "Reel Deal" the skipper was excellent and we caught 30 mackerel between 3 of us, they tasted fantastic on the BBQ! Looking forward to our next annual visit.....

Very clean and good all round

We had a nice time here, some of the roads are narrow but it adds to the fun . I would recommend this site ,as it was ideal for me as I use a electric wheel and the I had no problems  getting around.
