VIsited this site for a long weekend over the May Bank holiday. It's a lovely peaceful, well maintained site with large spacious pitches. There was a little noise at the weekend from a site next door on the other side of the trail. The toilet block was always very clean and tidy and the wardens were helpful and friendly. One of the downfalls of this site is the WiFi, it's totally useless, it worked Thursday and part of Friday but as the site filled up you could not access the internet, reported this to the wardens and they said they couldn't access the Internet either. Another issue with this site is the lack of an on site dog walk, there is direct access from the site onto the Tarka Trail but this is so well used by inconsiderate dog walkers that don't clean up after their dogs. There is very little chance of being able to walk on this trail without yourself or your dog standing in somebody else's dog mess, it's filthy and not a pleasant experience to walk on this trail, obviously out of the Caravan Clubs control but there is a dog poo bin provided on site, just inside the gate. Overall we enjoyed our stay on this site.
Super site with lovely staff
We stayed in late May. An eventful journey with slight accident delayed our arrival by 24 hours. The staff were super, helped us re-book and intervened following receipt of a Late Cancellation letter. We could not have asked for more help all conducted in the most professional and caring manner. Well done Willingcott, we'll be back to further explore the lovely N Devon coast. The site was beautifully clean, grass groomed and so green (that may have had something to do with the rain!).
As mentioned by others the site is large but sub-divided and seems spacious. It is windy and the weather can be invasive but the Devon welcome overcomes this. When the sun shone it was glorious.
Very Spacious, Quiet, and Well Kept Site
Stayed at Willingcott for 7 nights over the easter period - it was less than half full. The site was quiet and spacious and due to the fact that it is broken up into different areas it seems smaller than it actually is. There is a large amount of grass area which the wardens kept in excellent condition. The toilet black and other facilities were always very clean. Overall we were very pleased with this site and will be returning again during the next couple of months.
Highly recommended
We stayed here for four nights in our camper van while my wife walked the coastal path between Lynton and Braunton and I provided the transport. This site is ideally located for coastal path walkers as it is central for four of the day stages. The staff were friendly and the new toilet block is really smart and clean. There is a good footpath/cycle track/dog walk on the site perimeter accessed via a gate with a key. The site is exposed and we experienced fierce easterly winds so we had to lower our pop-up roof on two nights. This is an exceptional site and we will definitely return for the start of my wife's next day stage from Braunton.

Good base for walking and cycling
The friendly wardens/assistants were helpful and welcoming on this well looked after site. Toilet block clean and well maintained. Direct access onto the Tarka trail, which is good for cycling and walking. This area has plenty of footpaths and it it possible to walk from the site onto the coastal path although it is several miles away. The site is in easy reach of Woolacombe and surrounding area, we enjoyed our stay despite it being slightly wet and windy.

Fantastic Site
Looking forward to our Seasonal Pitch at our favourite Club Site, we very much enjoy Willingcott as we are able to explore the whole of Devon & Cornwall.....the area of the UK which we love.
The site is always maintained to a very high standard, the Wardens are very friendly, polite & always help if there is a problem.
Woolacombe itself, is a place you just wanna go back & visit.
If I could make one downfall of the site......then it would be the Wi-Fi......its very much hit or miss!
Tripping out!
We had a fantastic stay of 6 nights at this quiet site during Autumn Half Term. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I was watching a DVD of The Who at the Isle of White concert August 1970 then discovered the Electricity had gone off! Fortunately the tele and lights were off the leisure battery so no problem! Soon discovered the whole site was tripped out as man from Electricty Company was already on site! Fridge to gas! Had a great break, sea freezing but that is not the Clubs fault!

let down by club wifi
having recently stayed at this site for 12 nights we were very pleased with the warm friendly and helpful welcome the site has great views out to sea overlooking lundy island the only down side was the wifi oh dear but we enjoyed our stay and would certainly visit again when in the area
Great Site to See North Devon
A very good clean site, very quite, but it was the end of September.
Wet and windy on the day of arrival and advised not to put up Awning until next day, with the way the wind was blowing, did not put up the awning it stayed in the boot of the car
On clear days views across to Lundy.
Toilets very clean and warm and well looked after.
Wardens very friendly and welcoming.
Wifi was week and took longer than normal to log on.
Good location for a quite time.
Easy to get to all the main areas of North Devon and on to Exmoor
Not for us
Under staffed , no security, big site but only one toilet block. 3 people run the site and they work very hard to keep it the best they can. To of the 3 people don't like dogs and will have a dig at you if your dog go's to the toilet on the grass ( even thou you are there picking it up ) we only stayed 2 nights we should of been there for 9 nights but we moved to looe much better. The place may be ok for you but we will never go back.
