Great location

First week of the school holidays so we knew it was going to be full or nearly full which isn't a probĺem as we have children and the sound of them playing outside is great. The site was full from the first night and the toilet block struggled to keep up with demanded. Happy to have dogs on site but the rules need to be adheard to and enforced as we had several dogs not only pee on the awning but also come in to the caravan as no owner had control and to top it off oldest child trod in a large amount of poo whilst playing ball. The office was closed whilst the toilet blocks are cleaned which is when we all would leave the site and try and by rolls or ask for local info before going out. The walks from the site are well worth a trip and the one to Perranporth was our best does take all day. Great site but not enough toilets and showers The pet rules must be monitored better and enforced.

Holiday

Wardens are excellent, friendly and very helpful. The site is kept immaculate by them. It’s a shame other caravaners /motor-homers are inconsiderate, showers not mopped after use, not clearing up after their dogs, not pitch too close to others and adhere to the way the site is set out, allowing dogs to pooh and wee on pitches, people need to remember that there are others on site when outside socialising, not everyone wants to hear your every word at all hours.

Fabulous site

A wonderful site with very clean facilities and very helpful wardens. We stayed here over later May bank holiday and really enjoyed the peace and quiet, although it was not far to get to Perranporth. The wardens were very friendly and even lent is a puncture repair kit for one of our bikes that had a puncture. Lovely local produce sold in the shop - you can even pick your own herbs on site. Lots of lovely touches. Throughly recommend.

I don't often leave reviews.

I tend to only write reviews if something is exceptional. Well. Our 7 nights at Treamble Valley were .We chose a grass pitch in the Warren.. Peace and quiet, it was fantasic. Great dog walk right next door. Rabbits and squirels running about every morning. A rather friendly Crow helped himself to our bread rolls from the boot of the car..... TWICE. he must have been hungry. Yes the approach to the site is a bit narrow. If members abide by the rules and arrive after 12 o'clock then it gives people leaving the site time to leave. It's not hard . Is it? Will definitely be returning. Site was very clean and tidy. And a perfect location.

Great site !

Just returned home after spending five of the quietest days we have ever spent on a club site. Fantastic ! The only noise was bird song and the occasional bark from a very happy dog. Wonderfully clean shower block , well kept grass and lovely flower beds.. Great information sheet given by the wardens on arrival answering all questions that you may think off at some point during your stay. Easy access to Newquay,Perranporth and all surrounding area, National trust properties are within 20 minutes drive. Pubs Garden centres ,cafes and restaurants , plenty of places to eat and if you don't want to leave the site grab a delicious pasty from reception. Don't hesitate if you are visiting Cornwall give this fabulous site a visit , you won't be disappointed . We will certainly be back.

Great Easter Break

First time here and we have already booked up again for next Easter! What a fantastic family location, the site is well spaced out with plenty of space for our daughter to run around, plus great play area too. The grounds and facilities are kept to a very high standard, the staff are really friendly and welcoming. They even left an Easter egg out for our daughter on Easter Sunday which was lovely touch, thank you. The approach to the site is a little narrow, but nothing too challenging so please don't let this put you off.

A Gem in the Valley

This mid October half term was my second visit to this wonderful site, this site is a credit to all the wardens who keep this site immaculate . Yes the site is hilly and the approach to the site can be challenging on the narrow lane, but don’t let this put you off. The dog walk in my opinion is the best on the club circuit ,my dog loves chasing around the maze at the top of the dog walk. There is a pleasant walk to Holywell Bay direct from the site, it takes about an hour. The pitches are well laid out on elevated terraces which give the site its character . Definitely will return as it’s a great base for touring mid Cornwall.

Never Again

Very disappointed with the site, very hilly which wasn't expected. Too hilly for me to use the only toilet facilitates. Very poor approach to the site but this wouldn't have put me off if the site had been nicer. The site was clean and tidy. Didn't speak to any wardens so can't comment on that. We were there during the school holiday and the site was full to bursting. We arrived approx 3 pm and had the choice of two pitches. The first was totally unacceptable as the drop from the back meant we would have to have built up the back of our leg steadies and not be able to use the awning for the 2 weeks. The other was a pitch that looked as if it it had been squeezed in to make an extra pitch. There was just enough room for us to park the car and put up the awning. Our awning was facing a large grass bank which meant there was no room to sit outside our van. Sorry but I have nothing good to say about site

Wonderful

Completely agree with Elin Sion. Just back from a week at this beautiful rural site. All the wardens are friendly, cheerful, hardworking and extremely helpful and have clearly put in a lot of thought and effort into the service they provide. The site looks immaculate and welcoming, with lots of planted flowers, mature trees and views; several fields of hardstanding and grass make pitches feel uncrowded, quiet and quite private. Good for dark skies too. There's a well-equipped playground, mini football pitch and a dog walk should you need them. Very clean facilties at all times (love the blue external paint!), a shop for essentials, and a visiting fish and chip van in season. This site is really well-run and feels like an oasis.
