Quiet out of Season

5 times now to Treamble. Agree with all that's been written by others, fantastic wardens good location , some lovely walks etc. However, we were there first and second week of June. We found it very quiet and peaceful especially the first week. I'm sure in school holiday times it is much more manic but, we have a,ways found it quite quiet in June.

Back after 20 years

We have not been to this site for over 20 years. The location is ideal for this part of the stunning North Cornish coast. Follow the instruction to the letter when you arrive as the road is narrow. There are speed humps on the hill on site while these are not a problem normally they can cause issues when towing uphill at slow speeds when leaving. The welcome from the wardens was warm and genuine. The loo block is little old but kept very clean. There is one of the best dog walks ever experienced and the children are well catered for with an large and well equiped play area. From some parts of the site the views are stunning. And added bonus is for a small fee you can buy a printed sheet with local walk directions.

Beautiful peaceful site

Stayed at this site in June for the Royal Cornwall Show. Good spot to get to the Show, considering that the traffic is always bad going to Wadebridge when it's on. Beautiful quiet site, lovely grass pitches well spread out. Wardens very cheerful and helpful. Have stayed here three times, can't praise it enough.

Treamble Valley Review

Wardens are excellent and run a very well maintained site. I am guessing that at peak times the one toilet block must barely cope with the demand of a full site. A second toilet block further down the site would be an advantage for the customers. The disabled toilet would benefit from a shelf to put a washbag near the sink. Overall the site is well located for visiting Cornwall. WiFi good - shame there is no mobile phone signal.

Recent stay

Big site very well kept and clean, fantastic wardens, however although the site is very big we were cramped into one small corner where hard standing pitches are, seemed very close together. Most of the site is grass which was almost empty. Quite a few grass pitches still very wet.. Biggest problem though is for a very big site there is only ONE toilet block and I wouldn't like to try and use it in prime holiday time as was quite crowded when site was reasonably empty. I think the facilities although spotless are showing their age and could do with bringing up to caravan club usual standard and perhaps a second block be added elsewhere, there is plenty of space. IF you like a lively busy site then it's fine. IF you like a peaceful time perhaps not the site for you.

Excellent site

Amazing holiday all the wardens very welcoming nothing too much trouble. Great beaches within short drive or good walk. Our dog Molly enjoyed the beaches. Immaculate site plenty of room between pitches. It was that good we have booked to go again this year.

Great site in a hidden valley.

Follow the Club instructions to site and you'll get there - it's not obvious on a map! We enjoyed the site - it wasn't busy so we had plenty of room between pitches - very pleasant. The wardens were excellent and the heated facilities were super. It's got TV hook up if you need it but in the more open areas away from trees, satellite tv works well. We tried the motorhome into Perranporth and eventually found the only place to park- behind the Texaco filling station on the way in. It's also convenient for the beach because there is a path right across the road. A little victory for motorhomers but an important one.

10 day stay

We stayed before Easter up to Easter 10 days. Lovely quiet site handy for travelling around we only go in the quiet times. Stayed here quite a few times over the years. It was clean and tidy. New wardens we hardly saw. Not many caravans but internet was awful despite paying for Caravan club not sure why. Tv Ariel on the post but this kept tripping out somewhere else. Note mobile phones do not work on this site. Hopefully the caravan club will sort these issues out.

Great Little Gem of a site

What a great club site, having arrived at the location its perfect for peace and quiet. the play area is great fro kids, the showers and toilet block were spotless. the new wardens were more than helpful, and when our caravan electrics failed us, they were wiling to lend us heaters etc to make sure we were warm (as we stayed when it snowed and was pretty cold.) i would highly recommend this site and i will definitely be returning in the summer. only down side is the no phone signal, but in actual fact was nice not to have it and be uncontactable. the pitches are immaculate. all round perfect.

Beautiful site

Lovely site in quiet and picturesque valley - great for dogs and children with clean and adequate facilities. Interesting lane to get to site where caravans may have issues, our small motorhome no problem. Very well kept grass and shrubs with large level hardstandings - most grass pitches slightly sloping. Rather isolated being well away from villages etc although only 4 miles from Newquay but much further from Truro. Probably some of the friendliest wardens encountered in many years of touring - great fun! Will visit again on our next Cornish sojourn.
