Quality site shame about the weather

We have stayed here many times before, but this time my wife had been ill and this was the first time in the caravan this year. The site is very popular and in June all the grass pitches are open but we are of a certain age where hard standings have appeared just at the right time! Ok in our 4 days it rained continuously for 3 days but still we enjoyed the area. The site does not change much, can still see the sea if you stand on tiptoes at the top of the site but there is little complain about. The wifi was disappointing, just under 1 mg/s for £2.50/day is not good value but I am not one to judge about the difficulties for a west facing quarry bottom site. Other wise everything is good and we will be staying again before the winter. If you want a really good meal out visit the Lakeside Cafe in Newquay - nr the zoo in Trenance Lane for breakfast/ lunch or dinner, but book up before you go as it is very popular with the locals and you may not get a table.

Once again excellent site

What can one say about this excellent site so peaceful and the site was fully booked. The site facilitates where spotless and the grounds are beautifully maintained. We cannot praise this site enough. You only have to see the amount of people that return year in and year out to know that this site is a winner

Treamble valley

We have just returned from having a week on this site we love it the only downside is the lane we dread meeting another caravan traveling in the opposite direction.Passing points are far too small.we have only one complaint to make and that is how individuals leave the toilets this can't be blamed on children as there wasn't many on the site so take note clean up after yourself don't leave the disgusting job to the wardens who are great.

4th Visit

This is our 4th visit to Treamble. Had a great time on the best pitch we've had thus far - 101. Nice pitch , very private, hard standing and sun nearly all day till early evening anyway. Amanda Fish and chips were excellent as we're the wood fired pizzas. I see the 50 p walk from site leaflet was available in May but it is no more. This is a pity as friends travelling with us would have found this a useful adjunct to ordnance survey maps! I hope this can reinstated. Lovely team. No doubt we will be back.

Bank Holiday in Cornwall

One of the best sites we have stayed at in the UK. From the first greeting on arrival the friendly, helpful wardens worked incredibly hard to keep the site and the shower and toilet blocks immaculate. Luckily the weather was good for most of our 5 night stay, arriving the Wednesday before the late May Bank Holiday and this enabled us to take advantage of the footpaths which crisscross the area around the site. We found it was ideally situated for us; far enough from the beach to be quiet and relaxed but close enough for Perranporth or Holywell Bay to be reached on foot via an easy walk of around an hour. We invested 50p on a leaflet with details of 5 walks from the site and this was very helpful. TV signal was better than expected based on the poor mobile signal but the club wifi worked well so no issues in keeping in contact. Definitely worth a return visit.

Enjoyable Break

We stayed here for a few days after the Easter school holidays & had good weather & an enjoyable time away. We walked footpaths to Holywell Bay & next day to Perranporth. We also drove to Trerice [NT] Then called at Newquay Garden Centre & Morrisons on way back to site. Narrow approach road to the site which is well cared for with clean facilities & reception has some groceries/essentials. There are HS & grass pitches [levelling blocks needed] also a large play area. We saw a butchers van visiting the site. The nearest pub was 30/40 min walk along lanes – nothing else nearby to walk to.

Perfect quiet Park to relax and enjoy Cornwall

Our first stay on a Motorhome & Caravan Club Site and what a first site to stay on! Spotless and very friendly wardens. A credit to to the club. Lovely and peaceful, this site is suitable for all members :-)

What a delight!

Approach to site is along a small single track road, so arriving after 12 is a must to avoid vans leaving. That said, we loved our visit at the end of October. Lots of walking on site and from the site - Great for dogs and walkers alike. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Site wardens very helpful and smiley even at the end of the season. All areas well kept inside and out to the expected high standard of the CC. You will not be disappointed if you choose this location for a holiday - Enjoy!

A wonderful site

We have just returned from a very enjoyable short stay on this site, the first time that we have stayed here. Our only criticism is the fact that the hand dryer in the men's toilet block wasn't working at all while we were there. Maybe if this happens again, a roll of paper towel could be left? Other than that, everything was just perfect.
