Another fabulous week at Treamble

Just back from a great week at the site. All kept really clean and tidy by the wardens who couldnt be more helpful. Area is stunning especially the local beaches and plenty to do. Lack of phone coverage helped by buying an annual broadband package so you dont feel so isolated although some like that. Irritated by members arriving before 12 though and causing block on approach lane but thats not fault of CC or site. Looking forward to returning next year.

A little gem

What a wonderful little site ,absolute little gem quite and peaceful .Toilets and shower block spotless clean and tidy.Loads of places to visit very central. The only thing to consider it has no phone signal at all on site but if you go up near main gates you get on there. Cant wait to go back.

Cornish Cracker

Had 13 nights here in September second time this year. Fantastic site warden's are the best we have found of all club sites visited very pleasant and helpful. This site is local to some of the best beeches in Cornwall. If you have a pet dog then the dog walk is probably one of the best there is. Gets very busy at the usual school hol's but outside these times very quiet. Will certainly be back.

What a great site

This was our first visit to Treamble Valley and our immediate thoughts were, what a great site - the wardens were warm and friendly and gave us a great welcome, the site was scrupulously clean and tidy and very well maintained. The only downside for us, and this might be as much about my ability to manoeuvre as anything, but it felt like quite a "tight" site, with some real challenges in getting on to our pitch and as we wandered round I could only wonder in marvel at how some far more expert caravanners than myself, had managed to get their van onto such a tight pitch - much respect to them! But overall, we had a great few days and would definitely head back again.

Great location!

On arrival we were allocated a grass pitch but unfortunately there had been heavy rainfall the day before and the pitches available were very boggy. Luckily we were able to move to a hard standing pitch the next morning and this improved our stay considerably. This is an excellent site for dog owners and a great location for fantastic beaches that are dog friendly and were lucky enough to stumble across the filming of Poldark (on Holywell Bay Beach). We met some very friendly campers on site and found the wardens to be welcoming and helpful. Internet connection and phone signal not good sadly.

Back again!

The Treamble Valley site was early onto our list of 'must visit' sites on our visit to Cornwall. The second time this year! Excellent walking from the site and the convenience of being able to drive and park our motorhome at the near-by Holy Well Bay. NT members park free and Jenny, who looks after the parking most of the time, is always helpful and friendly. Yes the walk to the bus stop is lengthy and mostly uphill, especially if you pitch at the bottom end of the site. The Wardens are excellent in every respect. Sadly we not meet Poldark on the beach so we will be back again at the first opportunity.

Fantastic

Just back from several visits to treamble since March. Fantastic site kept neat and tidy by the wardens, facilities clean if a little old looking. On the downside the site changed dramatically once the school holidays started, children running in and out of the toilet blocks leaving toilet roll everywhere, caravaners partying till well after midnight, adults, yes adults, using the bushes at the back of their pitch as a toilet, cars driving far faster than the 5 mph speed limit ignoring request from the wardens to slow down. As with everywhere dog owners not picking up after their pooches. Having said all this it is a great site with lovely friendly wardens who will go out of their way to help with any problems and we will be back.
