Wonderful site

We have been visiting Treamble for the last 10 years, and as always it is an absolute joy to stay there. Peace and quiet courtesy of its valley setting and well placed between Newquay and Perranporth make it an ideal holiday location. If we had one little quibble it would be the non-stop 'radio' station playing in the shower block(s) - these would appear to be on round the clock, so perhaps a sensor would be helpful so that it shuts down after a time when no one is in-situ (thus reducing the electricty bill a bit!). All in all, our favourite site. Bring on 2017!

Excellent annual Holiday

Staff were very helpful, the site was always clean.Ā  Children's play area was good for the children. Wi-Fi is not very good, but that means you can relax more without technology....

Fantastic site, great for kids.

This site is set within the gorgeous country side with lovely views. It's play park is brilliantly equipped which will provide hours of fun for the kids! We visited the nearby beach at holly well bay many times on our holiday as the little stream running towards the sea was perfect for our two young children to enjoy paddling and splashing about, the sea was crystal clear and the beach was lovely and clean with on the beach snack van and toilets a short walk away. Ā£5.50 all day parking for the beach which is ran by the national trust. The site is very well placed for visiting many places throughout Cornwall. It has a lovely long dog walk, lots of surrounding wildlife and is lovely and quiet. Facilities are kept lovely and clean and has lots of facilities to accomodate the size of the site. On site laundry and well stocked shop! The visiting chip van and butcher was a good touch too!! Lovely site in a great part of the world!Ā

We love Treamble Valley ! Thanks Viv and Ray !

We have recently returned from our 5 th holiday at Treamble Valley and we love it , hence why we have visited for the 5th time ! The site is kept immaculately clean by the amazing wardens Viv and Ray (who we first met when they were wardens at Lleithdyr Meadow, St David's). They are lovely people and work hard so hard and are always friendly. My two children love the site too ! The play area is great and the pitches are spacious. Good luck Viv and Ray - we will miss you !

Return visit

We returned here for our third year. This is our favourite club site and our favourite location for our annual summer holiday. We always stay at the top of the site, not too far from the toilet block, shop, laundry and the dog walk. It is extremely well kept and lovely and quiet, even in the middle of August. Site is near to Perranporth and Newquay, ideal for surfing and body boarding, bars and eating places. Wardens are very friendly and helpful. Park is fabulous for kids but my kids wouldn't go to it as it was full of scary teenagers (their words not mine). They weren't doing any harm but it put my younger children off. We love this site and will definately be returning again next year. But....please please caravan club, please update the toilet block to the usual club site standard. The toilet block on this site is outdated and has those awful plastic stools which get in the way. All the other sites have lovely modern toilet blocks and this site is let down by this. Also the husband says please fix the button on the wet suit shower for next year, have to press the button all the time to clean 3 wetsuits was driving him mad.....kept him busy though so I'm not complaining!

Return visit

We were back again for our annual holiday and return here as we meet up with family and friends. We always keep an eye out for any improvements to the site and we're glad to see the orange traffic cones by reception disappear during our stay as although they were supposed to calm the traffic they looked really unsightly (more a cosmetic observation really) We had a pitch in the upper half of the site and we didn't venture down the hill from the toilet block so can only comment on the top half which was nicely kept. The usual comments about the toilet block still apply - queues as it really is a bit small for the size of the site especially being a seaside location it was really busy and as always the comments about the site needing another block further down still being mentioned by fellow campers. A couple of years ago we can remember it being mentioned that more hard standings would be added as this site can get very boggy with rain (being an old quarry it just runs down the hill) but we didn't see any additions especially on seaview which gets notoriously wet. This is a nice site but you will need transport as it is very tucked away but equally near enough to places like Perranporth for supplies. Planning our 6th return next year !

Step into Nature

We spent a lovely, peaceful 6 nights on this site. We live in Cornwall (about an hour away) and have been on many sites in cornwall, we had our first stay here and wish we had stayed before, we will return. The wardens were very welcoming and friendly. Even morning we woke to hear cows Mooing or a bird of pray squawking. There are many lovely walks from this site, lots of people had dogs and return every year. A fish and chip van and a butchers visit regularly. It is a lovely place to visit Cornwall from, lots of places to visit only short car rides away. can't wait to visit againĀ

Fab August Family Holiday

My family and I (boy 6 girl 5) stayed here for 7 nights and really enjoyed the site. Fairly quiet, quite spacious and with a good children's play area. The only real downside is that there aren't any facilities within a short walk (pub is a good 20/25 minute walk with children. The site is very clean and safe, which is testiment to the friendly wardens.
