Great as usual

We go to this lovely site at least twice a year and it never fails to impress. Wardens doing a great job, keeping everything clean and tidy. I just wish other users (dog owners) of which we are, would pick up after their pooches. This year was the worst I have seen on the dog walk and even around some of the empty pitches. It gives us all a bad name so please PICK IT UP.

Not for us

Booked 5 nights here as everything sounded ideal for us.   But, we have a Motorhome and so we found ourselves a bit isolated on this site as the bus stop is a good one and a half miles away on a very hilly lane/ road.   the toilet block was uphill from our pitch as was the reception which was a bit much for us as we are both in our late sixties.   Left the site a day earlier than planned and paid for.

Lovely site but walk to facilities is very steep.

This is a beautiful site ,lovely wardens, very clean and a great Location with many places to visit especially the gorgeous sandy beaches. The dog walk is fantastic dogs can be off the lead and have a good run. The only problem was the site was very steep and the facilities were right at the top, we were lucky to have a really good pitch at the top but we saw many people struggling with the the walk, its was a shame that there wasnt another toilet block at the bottom of the site it would then be perfect, as many older folk ( like us) are Caravanners this may be a project for the Club to consider.

August visit

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at the site. After traveling down from west yorkshire  we were met by the friendly wardens who advised us of available pitches and for us to have a walk around to pick the most sutable. The site is kept spotless. The toilet block is cleaned to a high standard everyday 11 til 12. I personally liked the piped music from a local radio station. Would rather listen to that than the person in the next cubical. Good play area for the kids and usual treasure hunt to keep them entertained. Site is well placed for getting around Cornwall. I do have two gripes aimed at club members not the site. Why do members think its acceptable not to clean up after themselves When they use the toilet or shower facilities.  Second, your on holiday so why do you think you need to drive around the site like your on the slip road of the M1. Slow down.  Overall great stay good site We will be back.

Superb in every way

This is not the first time we have stayed here, nor will it be the last. The site has the most beautiful grounds for both walking and dog walking. The countryside is very unspoiled, As always the facilities were spotlessly clean which is very important. The thing which makes this site outstanding is the friendliness of the staff who are very willing to go the extra mile for the members. Personally I have not stayed on a better club site. Many thanks and see you soon.

Fantastic Site And Welcoming Wardens

This is a fantastic site with wardens who are more than happy to help. The site is well maintained and the toilet block is cleaned 11:00-12:00. There is a fantastic dog walk on site and also an excellent play area for the kids. The site is close to Cornwall's many towns and attractions, and the information room is packed full of leaflets and places to eat. I'd recommend The Ice Box Cafe at Perranporth which sells a selection of hot and cold drinks which are reasonably priced. Thank you to Viv,Ray,Susan and Andrew for a pleasant stay at your beautiful and relaxing site. Keep up the great work that you do.

Nice peaceful and ideal for visiting places

We have just stayed here for a few nights and I have to say the lady warden on reception was absolutely lovely couldn't do enough for us when checking in and made sure we had all the info we needed to find a pitch. Also the warden that held the vans on the arrival place was really friendly too. Overall a lovely welcome and a lovely site if your visiting Newquay. Also met some really nice people on this site too. We will be back here again

Beautiful site

Beautiful site, idyllic location, very friendly wardens and the high standards we have come to expect from the Caravan Club. Lovely beaches at Holywell Bay & Crantock Bay but personally found Perranporth noisy, packed and very commercial. Great location for families and couples alike. Only gripes are the horrible loud piped music in the Toilet Blocks and the Wifi was appalling! With absolutely no phone signal at all it is not a site to go to if you need to continue work or connection with the outside world!

Amazing site

This site is absolutely amazing. It is very peaceful and extremely picturesque. There are many secluded pitches surrounded by trees that are very pretty and there are loads of really sunny grass pitches. Great location between Newquay and Perrenporth. Loved it!
