Sutton

A rare site in the caravan Club family in that you revers on to a pitch and the van is level side to side. Wonderfully flat location. Loos/showers are ok but a bit tight in the showers. Very attractive site though and well maintained by the wardens. If you are looking for a site in an area with plenty to do this may not be your best location. Mablethorpe -wouldn't bother going back there. Gibralter point was probably brilliant before the surge in the North Sea a couple of years back which swept over the site and destroyed the visitor centre (now being rebuilt) so go back in 2016 when it has settled down. Ignore the cloud viewing area at Anderby Creek - its a platform from where you can see the sky. Funny enough its the same sky you can see from the ground! This is billed as a tourist attraction!! Woodthorpe Garden Centre is a good spot to visit (about three miles north of Alford) if you are into gardening or just want a wander round and very very good meal. TV and internet reception excellent

Nice quiet location

This site is quiet in a nice location in easy walking distance to the beach and a pleasant walk, just a little further, along the promenade into Sutton on Sea. The very pleasant Wardens keen this site in great condition, hence we will be visiting again next year but for a much longer stay.

Lovely site

Spent 3 nights here late September. Immaculate facilities, friendly welcome and very helpful staff. Superb location with a short walk to the beach. Good for cycling with safe routes along the front. Will be back.

Short break

Our first time in Lincolnshire and it was a real treat, helped by lovely weather, the site is well placed to enjoy the area. The site is well laid out and very tidy and clean. Staff are friendly as well. One thing that caught us out was the distance to the electric hook-up on some of the all grass pitches, you will need a 25 meter cable to properly connect. Lovely site that we would return to.

Lovely Site - Friendly and Very Helpful Staff

Stayed here last week for 4 nights (w/c 14/09). A lovely site. Despite being close to the road it was still relatively quite. Good location for the seaside with a lovely promenade, but not much else. A special thank you to the staff who were extremely helpful. Previous comments about dogs are valid but seem to be common to most sites we have stayed at and not every owner clears up after their dog as we found when we drove onto our pitch, ending up with a lump of dog mess stuck to the outside edge of one of our wheels!! What I also struggle to understand is why some dogs are left to bark for long periods as though the owners don't care or can't control them.

Dogs

This is a very nice site. The wardens are very helpful at all times. The only gripe I have is people with dogs. They were seen every day walking their dogs round the site instead of using the dog walk. I noticed several people letting their dogs foul the site, pick up the mess, and then go back to their own part of the site. There seems to be a total disregard for other people using this site by letting their dogs do this. This is not any fault of the wardens as they cannot monitor every part of the site 24 hours a day.

Lovely site, fab location

This is a lovely site, we came here in 2013 and loved it then too.  The toilet block is fully functional and always clean but isn't as updated as other sites.  Ken and Lyn the wardens are brilliant, they can't do enough for you and both sets of wardens work so hard to keep site clean and tidy, it's a real credit to them.  We have dogs and the site is ideally located for trips to the beach, and Farmer Browns dairy farm on the way back for a coffee and ice cream is a must.

SUTTON- ON SEA club site.

This site is very a nice site. ( Peaceful and quiet. ) And near enough to Skegness and other seaside places with all of the rush and push. The toilet block maybe a little dated but in very nice condition. And kept very clean. With well established trees and shrubs, the site caters for both sun and shady pitches with a good choice of grass and hard standing. It was our first visit to this site and we shall be back for more visits in the future. Tarkaspark.

Good site if you want a relaxing holiday.

Nice quiet site, not far from the beach, good for families, and those of us that are retired. Handy for the shops and beach. Lots of places to visit. Site very clean and tidy. Dog walk near by. This the 5th year we have visited.
