For our first caravaning expedition we picked Sutton-on-Sea and we were not disappointed. Lovely location, excellent facilities, great staff and a perfect first trip. We thought with it being Easter it may be busy but it was still relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. We could walk into Sutton or take the car further afield. Recommended.
Easter Break
Went with our two young grandchildren age 2 and 4 and was a bit disappointed that the play park wasn't suitable for them and as this was one of the reasons we chose the site. Had a problem with the WiFi and spent 40 minutes on the phone to the provider who eventually then confirmed there was a problem with our pitch. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but wouldn't perhaps go back. The wardens are lovely and as always very helpful and friendly
Excellent as usual
We've stayed on this site many times and always find it to be first class. Just returned from a short break over easter and could not fault the place. Keep up the great work!!
Brilliant
Love this site , stayed last week of October weather wasn't the best but still enjoyed walks into Sutton , wardens were fantastic , as others have said toilet block could do with been updated , and shower cubicle are a bit on the small size , all though all kept very clean , be back next season :)
Second Visit
Second time at this site first visit 2 years ago Lovely site very clean and tidy we were there in October so leaves were falling off trees wardens did an excellent job in keeping them off roads and paths. Not far from Skegness and Cleethorpes which families would find excellent during summer months. Shower block was kept very clean but feel an upgrade would do wonders as they are a bit dated.

Lovely quiet location
Another wonderful weekend stay at this lovely Club site. Convenient quit location with a pleasant easy walk to the fantastic beach, which you can walk along into unspoilt small town of Sutton on Sea. We have already decided to book a longer stay next year rather than just take weekend breaks.
Nice for a weekend break
Site was nice enough, with good facilities and pitches.
The woodland walk was either too difficult for children, or not maintained, hence a dropped star there. Peaceful enough which is what we wanted, Father Brown's ice cream farm just down the road was nice, and Sutton on Sea nice too.
Sutton
A rare site in the caravan Club family in that you revers on to a pitch and the van is level side to side. Wonderfully flat location.
Loos/showers are ok but a bit tight in the showers. Very attractive site though and well maintained by the wardens. If you are looking for a site in an area with plenty to do this may not be your best location. Mablethorpe -wouldn't bother going back there. Gibralter point was probably brilliant before the surge in the North Sea a couple of years back which swept over the site and destroyed the visitor centre (now being rebuilt) so go back in 2016 when it has settled down. Ignore the cloud viewing area at Anderby Creek - its a platform from where you can see the sky. Funny enough its the same sky you can see from the ground! This is billed as a tourist attraction!! Woodthorpe Garden Centre is a good spot to visit (about three miles north of Alford) if you are into gardening or just want a wander round and very very good meal. TV and internet reception excellent
Nice quiet location
This site is quiet in a nice location in easy walking distance to the beach and a pleasant walk, just a little further, along the promenade into Sutton on Sea.
The very pleasant Wardens keen this site in great condition, hence we will be visiting again next year but for a much longer stay.
Lovely site
Spent 3 nights here late September. Immaculate facilities, friendly welcome and very helpful staff. Superb location with a short walk to the beach. Good for cycling with safe routes along the front. Will be back.
