Delightful Sutton-On-Sea
We have visited this site now several times over the last 2 years. It is a sheer delight everytime. It's quite, clean and within easy walking distance of the nearby beaches.
The staff on site should be congratulated, despite being at almost capacity the whole site was immaculate. As can be expected the pitches are all very level, even the grassed ones. plenty of space between pitches with grassed areas surrounding which leaves plenty of BBQ areas and seating spaces for the sun lovers.
We found the shower block facilities adequate and clean but could perhaps do with upgrading.
If you choose to walk to the beach which is perfect for those with children and dog lovers alike, it takes about 20mins. There are two good places to eat onroute. The Fat seagull, which is open during the lunch period for smacks and excellent hot food. There is also the links which has a fantastic menu and good beers. Dogs are also welcome inside. At the back of the building there is a lovely lawned area and children's play area. The food was reasonably priced and excellent, also plenty of choice with a daily specials board.
On the sea front you can cycle the route along the front to Mablethorpe or simply just walk, along the way there are numerous places to take a break, grab a snack and drink.
On arrival at the site the entrance road is narrow but there are passing places and the locals are more than happy to allow you room to pass.
Overall I can't really fault the site and would recommend it to anyone. I don't think you could be disappointed.
