Nice site

As you would expect from a CC site, absolutely spotless, places to walk out to and very relaxed. Only problem was the wi-fi is really pretty poor!

Don't expect Wifi

Visited 28/5/16 for 4 nights, wifi was an absolute waste of time, couldn't even read emails as the signal kept cutting out. Nicely run site, facilities clean. Still prefer the older side of the site.

FIRST CC SITE

As new CC members this is our first ever CC site stay and,I have to say that it was a great pleasure for us,the location to Southport centre is ideal,a walk through Victoria park(able to run my dogs ) the wardens were friendly and very helpful, the site was really clean and tidy and the toilets immaculate,so hopefully will be returning again. We're staying at another CC site next month,if it's as good as this one we will use CC sites regularly.

Great location

Conveniently situated to the town and within easy walking distance of local supermarket and town facilities.  Nearby communal parkland good for dog walking and strolling.  High up on our list for a re-visit.  Highly recommendable to all.

Perfect Break

Not been to this site for some time. The new part of the site is a real added bonus, with lovely pitches.  Wardens friendly and helpful. Site and toilets kept in tip top condition. Information room had lots of different suggestions, and the Post Code Map was a gem of information, and really helpful. We would agree that not everyone keeps the 5 mph speed, that includes bikes and scooters. Also quite a few drivers didn't observe the one way system, which was plain to see. Why some people feel the rules don't apply to them, is a mystery!! But still the site and Southport gave us a really pleasant break.

super site

site is perfectly situated. 10 minute walk from town centre but lots of attractions on the way so it really does not seem far. Surrounded by trees, park and dunes the site is very peaceful. Lovely, clean well maintained site with friendly helpful staff. Showers were the best we have come across, free, hot and roomy. Lots of hooks and shelves to put things on. We will definitely return as this site is a perfect base for visiting Liverpool and Blackpool and Southport itself is a beautiful place.

Super site

Just had a fantastic time at this site. Really friendly informative staff. Ideally placed and only a ten minute walk to the town centre. Great choice of shops and eating places and so many places to see and visit, a definite returner.

Excellent Again

Excellent as always, facilities excellent, friendly wardens. New part of site a lovely addition but please Caravan Club install more speed bumps in the new area, some drivers idea of 5mph is staggering. Overall a great holiday on a great site.

Great site

Facilities were spotless. Wardens very friendly and efficient. Could do with a few more SPs. Departure and Arrival times should be staggered. Although we were lucky and got straight on, during our stay we observed queues along the main road waiting to get in. I must admit however sometimes units were arriving too early.

southport site

Excellent facilities all clean and accessible. Rabbits drove the dogs mad. Poor mobile phone signal but TV was OK. On the Friday there were 11 units queuing to come in at 1 minute to 12 noon with others still leaving - suggest a slightly earlier leaving time - say 11.30
