Super weekend with friends

Had a super weekend meeting up with friends. Site's well maintained and clean. Super location. There are lovely walks from site and plenty of pubs too. Great for dogs and children not to mention adults. Just a warning note - as we were leaving (at 1140) there were queues (9 caravans/motor homes) to get in. This site obviously does not open till 12!!!

not secure

just stayed here for 3 nights ,and thought i should review as there is none that mention the site security. very surprised to find that there is a pubic foot path that goes through the middle. just wanted members to be aware.

Fab site

Stayed here for a week on 6th June. Had great weather all week apart from last day, which always makes a difference. Great site easy access through gate to a big park. To shops and beach. Toilet block usual cc standards. Just don't forget the key. Would def. return.

southport caravan site

Was our first time at this site and we will be back.well maintained and clean site ideal for shopping in southport everyone was so friendly and lots going on in and around southport

Perfect Site

This is the first time we have visited this site since it was extended. The extra space was great, well laid out and easy access to all relevant services. The position of the site is in close vicinity to the beach, shops and bus services. As usual the Wardens were helpful and pleasant. Would not hesitate to revisit.

Fantastic Site

What a great site, immaculate , peaceful and close to the beach and amenities shops etc. Toilets and facilities are spotless and a real credit to the site wardens, a very friendly warm welcome. Will definatly be booking here again soon!

Excellent

This is a favourite site of ours and once again it hasn't failed to please. The surrounding area and parks are beautiful with plenty to see and do. Southport is a lovely Victorian town with plenty of shops and eating places to watch the world go by, see you soon.

Lovely

Another great week at this site clean and quiet and well looked after. Found it easy followed instructions from book followed coast road which is much better. Easy walk into to town trains to Liverpool £5 day return. Sea is a long way out so maybe not so good for children. Plenty of shops nice walk along front.

Great Site - Beach Not So

Having spent many day visits to Southport as a child I was eager to return with hubby and visit the area. The site itself is in a great location and ideal for the town, beach and parks. It is also kept immaculately. How depressing the area was around the beach though, with great areas of the beach actually cordoned off and buildings looking very tatty. Now in total contrast the park areas were amazing and we loved walking the dogs there. Also, access to them from the site is really easy. I would definitely return.

Are we there yet?

Only issue were the road signs ... Satnav didn't quite get us there & the last roundabout needs a sign. Missed this turning twice ! There is further back on esplanade but not at last roundabout. Were so near but do far ! ... Twice round the town ! Now we know for return visit (hope later in year) as all issues in site V good , but would help others.
