Pleasant site

Spent 5 nights here. Queue of people checking in on arrival was quickly and efficiently dealt with by the wardens. Facilities very clean and tidy, plot was spacious and all the wardens we had dealings with were pleasant and friendly (unlike the experience of some other reviewers). Only possible concern was lack of children's play area on the site itself rather than the adjacent park.

Too Expensive

Really nice site. However I am sorry to say that this site is far too expensive for a family especially if you got adult children. One night for 3 adult and 2 children was £48. The Caravan club need to look at it's pricing policy.

FANTASTIC SITE, but expensive!

Fantastic club site, we have stayed on this site a couple of times a year for the last 10 years. We love it, it is spotlessly clean, a fantastic location and next to lots of local amenities. All the pitches are a good size. Always book early it is a popular site, it's nearly always fully booked. I find it difficult to find fault with this site. BUT It does seem to be more expensive to stay here than other Club sites! Also I hate to say this but a couple of the wardens are very strict! and can come across as being a bit abrupt! and not very helpful!

Short mid-week break in Southport

We visited Southport site for the first time last week. A lovely open aspect pitch on the newest part of the site.  Excellent situation for walking into town or quick drive to Morrisons to stock up on our food supplies. Well done to the site staff for keeping the site neat and tidy, and the facilities very clean considering the site was fully booked for every day we were there. Will return soon, highly recommended...

2nd visit Aug2016. We are only 15 miles away so a local site for us.We have an 8metre motorhome. The newer part of the site is lovely and spacious with good size pitches.plenty of room between them Walking distance to Southport, Birkdale, and supermarket.Next to Victoria Park. This was out of bounds on this visit because of the Southport Flower show, but this did not spoil the visit, although this is handy as we have a dog and can stroll in the park into town.Southport has vastly improved over the years and has a lot to offer. The staff are  friendly and helpful and the showers etc are lovely and clean and hot in a modern block. We will definitely be back again. we will definitely be back again

Great site

This was our 4th visit to site Aug 2016. Always spotless and clean great site that is 15 mins walk into town centre. There you find Morrisons and usual seaside town centre. This time we stayed during the flower show so the garden park was closed off but still had access to the children's park for little ones to play, plus large grass area for footy and ball sports.

Overpriced

We've stayed on this site three times now,but won't be returning.ok it's handy to walk into town, the toilet block is immaculate but other than that it's just a concrete jungle.Whenever we've been here the park behind the site is always closed which is sad really, when it's school holidays. As for the wardens they could do with being more friendly.

One of our favourite sites.

This is our second visit to the Southport club site and I'm sure we will be back in the future. Usual Caravan club cleanliness and everything well maintained.  The town and all of its many amenities are a short pleasant walk away.  A great site and area for families, lots to see and do.
