Lovely spacious site within easy reach of the Islands attractions. Kept beautifully clean by the wardens and the trees, shrubs maintained to an excellent level. Lot's of individual 5/6 van areas giving good seperation across the site making it feel quieter then it was. Excellent pub (Pointer Inn) just a 10 min walk away. But do book as on both occasions we went for an early dinner the pub was fully booked, good job we had booked as wel.
Brilliant deal with the caravan club on the joint site and ferry, making it cheaper to but both than just the ferry alone.
Lovely site
Our second stay at this site and just as enjoyable as the first. We were walking the IOW coastal path and found it easy to catch a bus to our starting point each day from Amazon World, just 10 minutes walk from from the site. Wardens helpfully provided a bus timetable.
Toilet blocks were immaculately clean, as we usually find on CC sites, and we really like how the site is divided into smaller areas by hedges, which also give shelter from the wind.
The Pointer Inn is a great pub with excellent food and pleasant service, but it is always busy so book early if you want to eat there.
Site in lovely countryside
Normally we stay on CLs but as it was early season decided to stay on this club site. Not disappointed as barely one fifth full. We'll maintained, clean and centrally situated towards the east end of the island.
Possibly the best feature of the site is the most friendly and helpful staff!
Excellent facilities including a play area.
Make sure you book (early) to eat in The Pointer Inn in Newchurch, an award winning pub.

Do not know why this is a peaceful quiet site according to there site details, noisy Airplanes going over all afternoon, kids running around screaming and playing football and tennis, Its a fantastic site great staff very clean highly recommend, but the noise, wow,
Perhaps we pitched in the wrong place,,, don't lets this put you off, just my thoughts,
Excellent Site
We have just spent 6 nights at this first class site, our second visit in just over six months. The facilities are some of the best we have ever found and the way the staff maintain the site is exemplary. They are very friendly and helpful contributing to a very enjoyable stay helped by some great weather for the time of year. If you are hiring a car the Enterprise staff at Newport are very helpful and have twice provided us with excellent service.

We spent 7 nights here arriving on 2nd of april,The staff could not be more helpful, thank you to all 4 of you ,the site is kept immaculate and well laid out ,everything so clean and looked after ,though i dont have any children ,the play park looked fantastic, the weather was good for us,only probs are the road works all over the Island but we really did enjoy our time there ,even on the ferry, thank you again to the staff for the hard work they put in
A very good site
First visit to this site. Nothing is ever that far away as the island is not that big. Site was kept well, facilities clean. Staff very pleasant. A good discount on the Red Furnell ferry arranged via the Club.

First visit
We have been members for 12 years and this is the first time we have stayed on a Club site, as we normally use CLs. We found the site and the staff to be excellent, and the combination made our stay a joy. Thank you Club and site staff.

Weekend Stay
We stayed on the opening weekend, the new wardens are as lovely as the previous ones, and the site immaculate.
The hard standing pitches for motorhomes are large and plentiful. probably the best site on the island!
First weekend of the season
We just stayed for two nights at this very well prepared and presented site. This was the first two nights of the new season for Southlands and the wardens, who were friendly and helpful, had got everything ready to welcome the hoards. Unfortunately, there were only about five units on site.
I was very pleased that the pitches are sheltered and our one had big hedges on three sides which really helped when I was putting up the Dandy in high winds.
I was particularly impressed with the dog walk area and the shower/toilet block. The play area was large and well equipped, but due to it's position noise levels wouldn't cause a nuisance during busy periods.
The only drawback, and this is nothing to do with the Caravan Club, is that the walk along the road from the site to the local pub is really 'hairy' - no pavement, no lighting, narrow road, high hedges and locals who drive fast because they know the road. I wouldn't fancy a late night stagger back after a bit of a session.
