Happy holiday.

Stayed here for a week with family in two caravans during half term. Weather was atrocious, gale force winds, rain and cold sadly, however we still enjoyed our stay here, staff friendly and helpful, toilet block fairly clean although did get untidy towards the end of the day. Thought it was a shame most people didn't attend the evening entertainment in the clubhouse, once the children's entertainers had finished, as it meant no atmosphere. Can recommend 2 restaurants, Wheatsheaf Inn, West Beckham (near Holt) and The Village Inn, West Runton, both serving great meals at reasonable prices.

Seacroft Cromer

Just had 3 nights on this lovely site, our second visit in three years. They have added a new area which is all serviced pitches (I suppose they make more money from them) disappointed to see they haven't added any toilets or showers so I can imagine in summer it will get very busy, luckily we were there last week so although full not many children so it was good. Toilet cleaning is always a strange thing on CC sites never understand why they have to close both ladies & gents for 1.5 hours 10.30-12noon surely when people leaving for 12 need to use them? Was pleased to see that as soon as they were clean they were opened up again. Must say they are kept very well as is the whole site.

First Timers

Seacroft was our first  ever site used since joining the Caravan Club and also our first use of our folding camper. We were welcomed on to the site and given the map to choose which service pitch that was available as others had arrived not long before us. We found our pitch (109) and set up. As it was our first time by booking a service pitch it helped us understand the system better. The only problem we had was the water hose that I had brought with us had the wrong connection for the tap but the Gent next door advised us that there was a camping/caravan shop in East Runton so it was easily solved. The site was very clean and tidy with very good shower / toilet block. The food in the restaurant was brilliant. Good food, good size portions and well priced. (£8.95 for Sunday roast and pudding). The site is well positioned for walking in to Cromer either on the footpath or the coastal path in about 20mins. Many thanks to other site users who spoke to us as it made us feel welcome being new to the holiday life style. We will be coming back here again.

Great location

Just back from our first visit to the Cromer site. Had four excellent days, very convenient for Cromer 10 minute walk, which has many good eating and drinking establishments, would recommend the Pie and Mash shop and the Albion pub. Sheringham is a good stroll of about 5 miles along the cliff tops, but well worth the walk and views. Will definitely be back.

Good break

Stayed on the site 28/4/16 for the weekend, great site spotlessly clean with a warm welcome when we arrived. Can't fault the site well worth a visit.  We work all week so can't arrive until Friday night and had to leave on Sunday ready for the dreaded work again on Monday yes I work Bank holidays, we wanted to stay a little longer on Sunday up to 18.00 so had to pay the extra nights fees (31.50), even though there were spare pitches, I know the rules say leave at 12 but if there are spare pitches available why not charge a nominal charge rather than the full night rate, something for the club to decide on not the site I may add who were only following the rules, as a I say great site well worth a visit.

Cromer joy

Returned for another visit and very impressed by the new hard standing pitches at the top of the site. Well designed and giving some great sea views. Café meals now improved from last year but lacking atmosphere. Would always recommend this excellent location for ease of access to Cromer on foot. Many outstanding Nat. Trust sites and terrific costal walks.

April Break.

Had a lovely April Break at this lovely little site close to Cromer and their delicious crabs. The site and facilities are immaculate,as usual and our only quibble is with other dog walkers who for whatever reason, fail to pick up in the clubs, rather small, dog walk.

An excellent site

Enjoyed this site with seemingly a lot of service pitches.  We were in what seemed to be a newish area which could have done with its own shower block as it's a bit of a trog to the single block on site.  However, this is very clean and with very good shower pressure.  There's a restaurant and bar - not well attended when we were there despite a really good C&W singing show - but we didn't see any publicity so I hope people didn't miss this just because they didn't know.  Fantastic facility really - we've not seen any like this anywhere else (but haven’t been to many sites yet).  Pool table and swimming pool as well (closed when we there).  Great location for being able to see the sea, walking to the beach and Cromer (15 mins walk).  Also close to Sheringham.  But the site is quite exposed to wind.  Try a trip on the North Norfolk steam train line (Sheringham to Holt) – great experience (£12 each and you could travel as many times as you want on the day for that) and Holt is a lovely place.  Would we go again?  The answer is definitely we would.  Last point – bikes are a possibility but the walk is short enough to Cromer - and you are tied to the restaurant on site at night as no pubs close by - unless you don’t mind a walk back later at night from Cromer – assuming you don’t want to drive.
