Swim away

Lovely hot pool to use, enjoyed while here. Clean site, very friendly wardens, beautifully kept as well. A bit busier than normally liked but close to the town and beach. Easy access for Cromer and a bus stop outside the gate to anywhere else.

Very friendly Wardens

Very friendly and helpful wardens. Site kept immaculate. Shower cubicles a little on the small side but very clean and warm. Access to site easy, though some approach roads can be a little narrow in places. We did not use the pool or the restaurant during our visit but both looked to be kept well. Location is good for visiting places of interest in the area.

First visit and won't be our last

We have been wanting to stay at Seacroft for some years and finally been able to book a pitch for the May holiday, and it was certainly worth the wait. All the usual attributes of a CMC site, spotless toilet blocks, well set out pitches, neat and tidy surroundings. All of the Wardens are very pleasent and friendly. What makes Seacroft different from other CMC sites is the additional benefits of a small swimming pool, which the kids loved, and the Wanderer Bar and Restaurant where we had lovely meals at a reasonable price, the staff here are all friendly too. Seacroft is in a great location and only a short walk into the scenic town of Cromer. Hope to visit Seacroft again soon and thank you for a great family holiday.

Another great visit

Returned from 10 days here at lovely Cromer. Mainly sunny and warm. The site as usual was excellent, clean, well maintained and the wardens wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Loved the quote of the day at entrance, always raised a smile in the morning. The new Wanderer Bar and Kitchen is very good. Did read some quite nasty comments about dogs on site, and not using dog walk, I always keep my dog on short lead on site, accidents do happen, but always pick up, especially if you walking from top of site to dog walk. Would be rich person if I could train that well to get the dog to hold on! Cromer and area are beautiful and always something going on. Were there for Crab & Lobster weekend, excellent entertainment in both Cromer and Sheringham, loved doing the Lighthouse Trail and spotting all the different designs. Never tire of all the different places to visit, we will certainly be back

A great first visit

Stayed for 8 nights at the beginning of May, we had a serviced pitch in the new elevated area, the wardens said we could spin our caravan to take advantage of the sea view, which we did. Had glorious weather and made some good friends in the next caravan who gave us lots of tips about the area, thanks Derek and Janet. It was a shame the swimming pool wasn’t open but they were preparing it for the end of the month as we left. We visited the new Wanderer bar, we didn’t have a meal but what we saw served looked very nice. The drinks were very reasonable and the staff very friendly. The site is well kept and all the wardens were friendly. We hope to return next year.

Another great stay at an excellent site in the Easter holidays!

We would definitely recommend the site for families with it’s proximity to Cromer and the North Norfolk Coast along with the access to the clubhouse with entertainment in the evenings during school holiday periods. The clubhouse upgrades that have been carried out over the winter look great but in our opinion the standard of the food has decreased with an increase in prices. The staff at the clubhouse were very friendly and always make you feel welcome. The site facilities are kept spotless by the very friendly and helpful wardens who always go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is enjoyable and continue to improve the site! Well done Seacroft keep up the great work! We have booked to return in August, which can’t come soon enough for all of us!

Excellent site

We are newcomers to the motor home activity but if all sites are as good as Seacroft we will be very pleased with our new pastime. The site was well laid out and very clean. We stayed on a serviced pitch with its own grey water drain which we found to be extremely convenient. The facilities that we used were of a high standard and again very clean. The site is ideally located for Cromer and with a bus stop at the site entrance it is very convenient for travel further afield. The site staff were cheerful, helpful and welcoming. All in all a very positive experience and we look forward to visiting again.

Outstanding location and facilities

Visited this site the weekend before Easter. This must be one of the very best sites in the UK, the only thing we didn't get was the weather! Superb facilities including the newly refurbed restaurant and bar, location perfect for Cromer & the wardens very welcoming as always. Our only minor critique (for the Club, not the site or its team) was that it became apparent that the investment in the new restaurant had not extended to the kitchen as we experienced several occasions when menu options were not available due to a breakdown in one or other of the kitchen appliances. Despite this the team always managed to present and serve great food. Woud not hesitate to recommend and return to this site.

Almost Perfect

This site is perfect in nearly every way except for the dog walking area and the water drainage on the service pitches ( pitch 3). Axel level is spot on but you need to lift your jockey wheel up. Other issue is that your waste water drain will be at the back of your van, hence when you connect your pipe to it, your water will be slow to drain away. See this issue on a lot of site, no site can say level pitches when you can clearly see a slop. Not a big dog walking area but then you have the beach over the road, however dogs are band from the 1st May until 31st Sept. Club house is perfect and have a dog friendly area which was great. Showers are perfect with no push button.... 15 walk to Cromer, so leave your car behind unless you want to pay £3 for 2hours

Great site

This was our first visit to Cromer/Norfolk, it's a bit off the beaten track with no motorways but it was worth the effort. We were greeted by a very friendly Warden at the arrivals area and by (I presume) his wife on check in. We were given a choice of pitches and we went to check them out. I'd read in another review that a generator was running 24/7 in a plot of adjacent land and I could hear this (the field to the right as you drive in) so we chose a pitch in the central area (Fully Serviced) and this was spot on, quiet, calm and peaceful. There is an outdoor pool but this was closed (too cold) and a bar/restaurant complex, we were even allowed in one section with our dog which is not something we often experience when we visit the UK (we live in Germany). The food was fine and the prices reasonable. We had a trip to the nearby town of 'Holt', very charming place. This site is definitely worth a visit.

It is what it is
