In late October I spent a very pleasant week at Seacroft.
The wardens were very welcoming and friendly. The site and facilities are immaculately kept by the hardworking team
The bar and restaurant facilities made for very socialable evenings at a reasonable cost.
The food was nicely cooked and well presented.
Would definitely return.
Great 4 night stay
We stopped for 4 nights at this site, site lovely there is some road noise & train noise, we were pitched on the bottom end near to dog walk, Site excellent position for walking into Cromer, Facilities clean & tidy - Would revisit site if in the area
Nice site, close to the sea.
Seacroft is a very pleasant site with easy access from the main coast road between Cromer & Sheringham. Facilities are up to the usual standards for a Club site, and kept immaculate by the team. There is a very nice Club House and bar, which serves good, if slightly expensive meals, and often has live entertainment. The site itself is slightly sloping, and not very inspiring in its layout. A few pitches are divided by hedges, but the centre area is simply grass with no trees, shrubs or flowers. A little more landscaping would benefit the site. There is an upper area with all weather super pitches, if that's what takes your fancy, but we pitched on the lower level which was fine. The site always seems very busy, and was completely full on our visit in late September. We had booked 4 nights to take advantage of its close proximity to Cromer Pier, where we had booked two consecutive evenings at the theatre on the end of the pier. If you want to be close to the beach and sea with all the facilities close by, then this site is ideal. Cromer is walkable if you have a large motorhome, and want to leave it on site, there is also a Morrisons supermarket close by. My only negative thoughts about this site are small. On our visit, one dog owner seemed to think the rule about keeping dogs on leads at all times, didn't apply to him. In our 4 night stay, his two large dogs wandered about off the lead constantly, and at no time did we see a warden pick him up on this. Why don't the wardens have a quick walk around the site every day, and sort this sort of thing out? I'm also puzzled by the pitches. Opposite us was a pitch marked with a blue peg, for no awning. It was huge! Next to it was a pitch for units with an awning, that pitch was much smaller, surely the other way round would be better, as the occupier of the "with awning" pitch has his car half on the grass due to lack of room. Overall this is a very nice site, although quite busy. The Wardens do need to enforce the dogs on leads at all times rule though, for the safety of young children, as one day there could be a nasty incident which could have been prevented.
2nd visit can't wait for 3rd! :-)
This is our 2nd visit to Seacroft and for us its perfect! the bar, the restaurant, which is great value! great staff, the location, every where clean and tidy, great for dog, easy walk to Cromer, lovely pub fishing boat inn just down road, slightly longer but great walk along beach or over 'bump' to Sherringham. We have a large outfit and have no problem with pitch. We wouldnt visit in school hols as not kid people, l imagine with pool it would be quite full of little ones? We are lucky enough to go away practically every other wknd through out the year and Seacroft is one of the best! Thanks guys! see u soon! Jo Carl & big dog George!
2nd review
Following on from our last, disappointing break at Seacroft Easter 2018 (review left), I don't know what has changed, but whatever it is, it is for the better. Fabulous greeting and booking in (Gill), and no quibble again (Gill), when we needed to change pitches half way through our break to be nearer the toilet block. Nice, spotless clean site, facilities and clubhouse. Had a nice meal and excellent evening entertainment on the Friday night (Mark Hayley), Bus stop outside the gate. great sightseeing. Brilliant, a BIG thank you to ALL the team at Seacroft.
Not as good as I hoped
Site is a pleasant 1.5 mile safe walk through a park and car park or along the promenade or beach to Cromer with all it has to offer. Site has a small pool probably nice in the hot weather we've had. Restaurant is handy if you don't want to cook or wander off site. The site has a beautifully maintained fully serviced section with nice views in stark contrast to the other side of the site which is a bit unloved and as this site is always busy it seems crowded on the field part. We were given the worst pitch on site as they were fully booked .. we'd booked well in advance but of course got there around 4 so last pitch..although discovered there was a fully serviced pitch vacant which I wouldn't have minded but we weren't offered it. Moved to another pitch next day not so bad. I think you either love this site or hate it. I don't think we will be returning. That said we met some very nice people especially the lovely lady on 24 who helped us out with our poorly puppy so she's all better now. Thankyou.

Enjoyable
We have visited this site many times and have enjoyed our stays The site is within walking distance of Cromer town centre, shops and beaches etc. It is clean and the entrance is well maintained with colourful flower baskets.
However as the site has expanded with the new service pitches and the increasing numbers camping on the tent pitches, at peak times the toilet and shower facikities are inadequate for the number of people using them. Not all the shower cubicles had a stool provided to sit on. They were cleaned daily.
Also there is only one washimg machine and one dryer in the laundry room. Maybe an additional amenities block should be considered near the tent pitches in the future.

Great Site
This is our third visit this year to this site and it's one of our favourites as it has everything that we need. Great facilities and clubhouse. Food is very nice and good service.

So helpful
Whilst I was staying at Seacroft I had cause to visit a doctor. I had decided to go in to Cromer but Marie (one of the wardens) said Sheringham would be better. But as the appointment was within the next 15 minutes she even offered to take me and if I wanted I could call her and she would collect me. However I did make may own way back.
I thought this was very kind of her as she needn't have done this for me. Thank you so much.
I am looking forward to returning next year and have already booked for two weeks. It is a super site and I always enjoy going there.
I don't know why so many people have to make complaints.
Apologies for not contacting before as this incident happened in June but hope Marie reads this and remembers me! 😒

A little disappointed at times
Seacroft is a lovely site and we have been many times,l have to say though wardens are fine and the pool ok (needs a refurb) hl have to agree too about the lifeguards some brilliant, some not so.The club on site is wonderful just a pity this cannot be said for the showers, these need a refurb too,not even a stool to put your bag on,has to go on the wet floor,if you have visitors too beware it's not so good, very strict.
