Sadly not for us

we use the club sites all the time and the priority for us is a good dog walk off site and level pitches. although it does say on the website some levelling required, as the site was very full there were few level sites available, so we ended up using two wedges under one wheel and 4 blocks under the jockey wheel to get a level. the dog walk isn't really worth talking about, however the beach is about a mile away and is beautiful. the pool wasn't open and although we would not have used it I do think the site was pricey as this facility was not available. the wanderer restaurant was okay, we have used the one in Knaresborough which is better, but the service was friendly and good. the staff were very helpful, there was a queue of at least 4 caravans waiting to get in and the staff were there organising it so that we moved through swiftly and were not stuck out of the road. we should have stayed 6 nights but only stayed 1 night returning to clumber park. lots of people love this site but sadly it just wasn't our 'cup of tea'

Great Site

I stayed here over the Easter weekend and as a lone camper (towing a touring caravan) I am always aware of the friendliness and atmosphere of a site. I can say without hesitation from the first contact booking in the staff were friendly and helpful. The children's area is a good size and away from the main pitches so there was no noise. Lots of dogs so the dog walking must be good. The restaurant was good and had a special on Sunday £9.50 for a roast dinner. The site is well looked after and the shower block clean. When I left a member of staff helped hitch the car (the only bit I can't do on my own) and checked I was safe to leave which was very nice of him thank you. My only disappointment is I could not book the dates I wanted for September but I shall definitely stay here again.

Another lovely break

We have just stayed for 9 nights over the Easter weekend and expected it to be hectic with lots of children. There were lots but were no problem. Obviously enjoying themselves! It had snowed when we arrived(!) so we thought we were in for a chilly stay. However the weather soon changed and the sun shone. Places to visit are Sheringham, Wroxham, and Cromer itself. Take the steam train to Wroxham and enjoy the views. The wardens on site were lovely and helpful. Site was neat and tidy. Looking forward to our next visit which will not be as relaxing as will have grandsons with us!

Visiting Family

Stayed at Seacroft for 2 nights whilst visiting family in Cromer so excellent location. We know Cromer well having lived in North Norfolk previously and this site ticks all the boxes. Fantastic walks along the coast, the local amenities are a short walk however we ate in The Wanderer both nights and the food and service was excellent and good value for money. Can highly recommend this well maintained and managed sight for both facilities, layout and location.

Relax in cromer

We just had a relaxing week at seacroft, the site was full and we never had to queue for showers the site and facilities were clean and shower block lovely and warm, we had 3 lovely meals at the bar and dogs were allowed in there I recommend the sweet potato curry it was that good I had it twice. Some lovely villages to explore nearby. We will definitely be back this was our second time at seacroft.

Christmas and newyear

We spent 19 nights here over Christmas & New year. To start with the picture on your website doesn't look like Seacroft as it is a picture of Knaresborough. As there is only 1 shower block and on christmas day alone there was 91 pitches in use, why were 5 of the ladies cubicals locked? one had a 'Cubical not in use' laminated sign on the door. I opened all the locked cubicals and checked everyone of them and they were all in working order. The warden locked these daily so we couldnt use them. The same with the mens [but 4 of theres weren't even in use as there was no shower heads or curtains or running water in washrooms]. The guests un-locked them, the warden locked them!!! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE !!!! There is no facilities for children in the clubhouse, except for 1 pool table, we had 2 very bored kids. Also as there is a designated Dog-Walk area why then does the warden walk round the site with their dog messing on the pitches { yes picking up the mess] but not a very good example to dog owners !!! New Years Eve buffet £35 as a vegetarian the choices were.. Cheese Pizza or Cheese sandwiches. Definitely Wont be staying there for Christmas or New Year again !!!!

Comment from the Club:

Many thanks for your review and we are sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. I have passed your feedback to the relevant teams for their reference so we can make improvements in the future.

I also wanted to clear up any confusion. With regards to the pitches, only 60 pitches were actually occupied over Christmas so the site wasn’t full. Over Christmas and New Year, in the men’s facilities, there were two of the seven showers closed due to an issue with the shower heads. By New Year these were fixed and all seven were available again. We apologise for the inconvenience. All six of the ladies showers were available throughout Christmas and New Year.

We hope this helps clear up any confusion and we are sorry you did not enjoy your Christmas and New Year with the Club.

Very good site

Excellent site for one and all, been many times, the only gripe I have is as on other sites is the emptying of your toilet box, I know elf and safety has kicked in hear but why do the water taps have to have the none return valves, when in use your feet get wet ,as the air gap leaks all on the floor and on your feet, cant the taps be altered so it's leaked into the hopper drain, gripe over, have a good time hear.

damage to motorhome on site

We stay on this site a few times each year. Last Sunday afternoon (4/11/18) we were sitting in our motor-home when it was struck by a missile. A warden was using a strimmer a few feet from our motor-home at the time and before I could get to him to stop the strimmer we were hit by a second missile. The first missile appears to have left a dent in the van. The warden refused to admit liability but did say he would make a report to the club. We have yet to have any response from the club over this matter. It looked obvious to me where the missiles had come from as the strimmer was not just cutting grass but digging into the dirt. A very poor show from the club.

Generally Excellent

Generally a good site but not enough facilities when it will be busy. As it was there were 66 of the 108 touring pitches occupied and half the showers were marked "not in use". I disagree with this decision as if I'm paying full price for a pitch and facilities I should have access to them. As it was a school holiday period there were families who visited the showers enough masse and would take up four of the five available showers in one go. Shower block very busy in morning. The pitches are standard size for plus awning ones but for the first time in five years I had to use my levelling blocks. Very sloping pitches throughout this site. Great location for the beach (cross the road walk left 20 yards, take coastal footpath for 100 yards to East Runton then walk down very steep and Skippy boat ramp onto lovely beach). You can walk along beach to Cromer and if you want get a bus back to the site for about £1.30 each. Buses take compactness card payments which was handy. Wouldnt like to be here in height of summer as I don't think there are enough facilities for 130-140 pitches.
