Easy to find and good site entrance. Not much choice on arrival but level,no shade.
Toilet block as with most sites very stuffy,no air,General use shower to assist the disabled only has one rail .
If you are eating in the Wanderer(basic food usual pub prices) bear in mind if night with music its VERY LOUD.finishes reasonable time.
Bus stop outside site both to Cromer and Sheringham.
Cromer is a bit run down but Okay nice Rocket Café with views over the water.
Steam trains to look at in Sheringham.
Wardens busy round site every day.looks well cared for except up by serviced pitches motorhome point.Nettles need cutting back.
Looking at next year seems a bit pricey.
Midweek stay
Another very pleasant couple of days weather very kind. Couldn't resist the food served in the Wanderer an added bonus of an evening of good live music.
Another great visit!
Had another great stay at Seacroft, the weather was kind to us. The guys in The Wanderer where as usual fab, few new faces. Site and facilities clean and well kept. Wardens this time very friendly smiling saying hello, makes all the difference! This is one of our favorite sites we will be back again and again! thanks guys!
A very nice stay but a few disappointments
We had a nice time here but were disappointed that the grass areas near our service pitch hadn’t been trimmed for some time and was full of big weeds and stinging nettles. Also for most of the week there was no food service in the Wanderer bar which is one of the reasons we chose the site. When we did finally eat there the food was excellent. We’d have eaten there more had it been available.
The bathroom facilities were very clean snd I liked the fact they didn’t close for cleaning until midday.
Wonderful break
Recouping after an illness this was the rest and relaxation we needed , lovely site, very peaceful and good pitches. Whole site is spotless. Well stocked little shop area. Staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Rang us before we arrived to say the restaurant would be closed on our arrival day...that's what I call 1st class customer service. The wanderer bar and restaurant r excellent...wish more sites had them. We will definitely go back . We stayed 3rd week of May so it was very quiet. Thanks everyone for a superb site.
A Nice Place To Stay
We stayed here in May this year for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the site and our holiday.
The restaurant and bar were pretty good and the food was not particularly aesthetic but tasted very good. The portions were, by and large, decent too. Doombar was at an excellent/ridiculous price
The shower block was perfect, always clean and well designed with cubicles for showering, for washing and shaving and for the usual ablutions! The block aslo held the baby facilities and the washing-up room. The motorhome/caravan facilities were also perfect with plenty of bins and cassette emptying sites.
The grass was always short and maintenance regular and fine.
Another visitor complained that their group of four Vans were spread out as the Site would not reserve plots. This didn't affect me in the least being alone but if I was with friends as I often am this would have been a factor in me going elsewhere. Perhaps this is a 'rule' which could be reviewed.
To sum up, a great site with great facilities with a short walk to the lovely Cromer and a bus stop right outside to enable visits to other beautiful towns and villages in the area.
Loved it
Having read the last reviews, we were slightly worried about coming to Seacroft, this being our first visit and first visit to Cromer. We had a great 4 night break, the weather helped and the staff were very helpful and polite. Our fellow campers were brilliant, everyone so chatty and a great bunch of people. The site is ideally situated for a motorhome user as everywhere is accessible. The bus stop into Cromer is outside across the road (although we never used it as the walk was so easy) and directly outside the bus stop to West Runton and Sheringham, both worth a visit. We visited the Wanderer bar a couple of times just for a drink and the staff were approachable and polite, also, as we had the dog with us, it was used by fellow campers with their dogs, which was a change, as other sites we have stayed at with a club house say no dogs allowed (not CMC). The toilet and shower block was very clean and warm, couldn't fault it. Our only criticism, if you can call it that, is the dog walking area was pretty small, although saying that a few yards up the road was a large park. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will return.

Too busy and noisy
Whilst the location is convenient for a Motorhome owner, and the staff are friendly, we have left early due to the presence of an immediately adjacent fair and associated noise. The fair was supposed to end the day we arrived (Sunday 12/5/19) it decided to continue. Then the wardens informed us that it would not now start again until the Friday. This was ok as it was the reason for our refund request. At the time of writing (Thursday) the fair is up and running with an intolerable noise level even inside our van with the windows closed. It seems they can do what they want regardless of agreements/license. It seems that the wardens have done their best to communicate with the fair, but with difficulty. The uncertainty of the fair means that we shall not be returning.
Added to this is what I consider site overcrowding. This is our 4th or 5th visit, and we learnt long ago to book a serviced pitch in order to avoid having to pitch in the central crowded field. This was of course easier to do with the recent site expansion, where the layout is more like other Club sites.
Incidentally, the Wayfarer Inn is soulless and cold., only good enough to watch a football match, if that’s your thing. Inclboro Fields here we come .....
Very Disappoined
After having a break from motorhome ownership, my husband and I have bought a small vehicle and this was our second outing, the first being the Coniston Coppice which I could not fault. The site staff at Seacroft were very helpful and gave us assistance with our awning, which had its first outing for our stay, however I thought that the site was very overcrowded with pitches on the grassed area behind us which gave no privacy whatsoever with fellow campers certainly using our pitch as a cut through because they could not be bothered walking around the pathways. I realise now that this must be a very popular site but had not realised it would be so busy on the dates that I chose. Also for five of our seven night stay we were bombarded with loud fairground music from the adjacent field for three hours every evening and additional sessions at the weekend. I feel that this should have been pointed out to us when we made the booking or subsequently as soon as the fairground was planned. All in all, very disappointing for an expensive site to which I shall not return which is a shame as the area and beach is wonderful.

A disappointment this year
After enjoying holidays here for the past five years, this year was most disappointing. We were met by a warden who was very cross and vociferous about people who arrive early. We were exactly five minutes early and would have happily waited, we were not able to predict the lack of the usual bank holiday traffic jams which allowed us to arrive in much less time than usual. I must add we were not the first to arrive. The previous year we had a wonderful welcome.
The facilities were not as clean as in previous years, they were ‘adequate’.
The pitch was fine, exactly as expected.
We were disappointed that the pool was closed, despite the scorching weather.
When we made an enquiry we felt as if we were unreasonable, we just asked a question about buses.
We felt as though the children were ‘tolerated’ despite it being a school holiday.
The number of ‘do not’ signs which seemed to have been placed this year made it feel very unfriendly eg. ‘Dogs must be kept on a lead no longer than 2m in length’, a simple please would have made it better.
The friendly and welcoming feel to the place has gone.
This is an expensive site but when the pool is closed I don’t feel it is value for money.
