We had a three night stay here. We found it very friendly and welcoming. The shower and toilet block was very clean. We had two meals at the on site restaurant and found them excellent, portion size very good. Cromer is only just over a mile away so a nice little walk before dinner. Not five star due to a little road noise. Whole site clean with plenty of space. Will use this site again.
great location to visit local area
very nice clean site , we were on a very large serviced pitch , grass area could do with some updating (but this was late summer holidays)
the bar and pool are excellent , good value and noice food , very friendly , pool was heated and well looked after by a life guard at all times .
site staff are very good at what they do and keep the site spotless just would like them to be more friendlier (but we were there at a very busy bank holiday )
toilet block needs to be much larger to cope with the expansion of the site although always clean at all times , we ended up using our caravan shower most or time ,
two beaches a short walk around 20 mins cromer pier 25 mins walk with lots to do
and large dog friendly beaches ,
very quiet at nite , will defiantly recommend this site to friends , but worth the extra money for the serviced pitches ,
we will go back soon
Great place
This was our first visit here and we liked it so much we've already booked for a longer stay next summer. The location is great, a 20 minute stroll into Cromer and a short car ride to Sheringham. The site is beautiful kept, but sloping in places so bring levelling devices. My only small niggle is there appeared to only be one shower/toilet block and by the end of the morning they had been very well used so the wash room sinks were obviously not clean. I feel the site would benefit from a second set of facilities. I didn't use the pool as our pitch wasn't close enough for me but I loved the idea of the new adults only swim sessions and will pitch closer and definitely take advantage of this if it is kept for next year. The bar/restaurant with entertainment was a bonus too. There is also a huge field for dog walking a few minutes walk from the site. There is general store within walking distance of the site and a very well stocked caravan supplies shop and a tearoom. It's a great place for families or couples young or older in my opinion. Very much looking forward to a longer stay next year 😁
An all round excellent stay and location
We arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the wardens and stayed for 18 days. For me the best thing about this site was the excellent location foremost, turn left out of the site and within a quarter of a mile is East Runton with an excellent beach with lifeguards (and a large car park just minutes away from it if you don't like the 10 minute walk), turn right and you will be in Cromer within 15/20 minutes walk, again lifeguards on beach, lots of shops and places to eat and of course its pier (get there at 8am and you'll have it all to yourself). The No 1 fish and chips restaurant/takeaway is fantastic, and you can book upstairs and watch the sunset over the sea. The site itself is excellent too. It has a heated outdoor swimming pool, and I mean really heated, the lifeguard said it was heated to 30C and it was like getting into a warm bath! There is also a bar and restaurant which while we didn't eat in was always very popular with night time kids and older entertainment. The facilities are well up and above to club standards and the wardens work tirelessly to keep all the site looking great. A big thank you to them.
There is lots to do in the surrounding area, our highlights were a boat trip to see the seals anda day on the boards - get a 'picnic' day boat and it's like your caravan or motorhome made into a boat. Two good national trust properties and three steam railways. Plus tearooms round every corner in each village.
Another year, another great holiday
As the title says we have just returned from another holiday at Seacroft. Our grandsons( aged 4,6 and 8) tell us they love the site. It is close to the beach and the swimming pool is good. As it rained we took them to Sheringham indoor pool. It was very busy and times were restricted but we had a good hour there. They love the wave machine. Went again when it wasn’t wet and we stayed a lot longer as it was not busy. Be aware though that there is building work going on and you need to park offsite and walk in. It is marked. The site is very clean and tidy and the grandsons loved doing the Tourer Explorer quiz. A short walk into Cromer for ice cream and fish and chips. Recommended! Will be back next year. Thank you to the wardens for keeping the site so clean and tidy. You do a brilliant job.

Our favourite site!
We have stayed at Seacroft several times and we are home from our second trip this year. As always the site was clean and tidy, wardens constantly working around the site. The wardens are a lovely bunch, so welcoming and friendly. Despite the site being full to capacity everything was clean and tidy. We had a lovely meal in the Wanderers as per usual, great food. The children spent the majority of their time in the swimming pool which is a real asset to the site. My only niggle is that we arrived promptly at 1pm as we were with another family so hoping to get 2 pitches together ( never guaranteed i know) we could have arrived earlier as we didn't have far to travel but we stick to the rules! Unfortunately it wasn't possible but it didn't ruin our holiday and i'm sure we gave people a good laugh watching us walk back and forth with our food and chairs! However each morning we were there we saw people arriving very early, from 9am and pitching up. Made me wonder if we had arrived earlier we might have had more luck?
Great family break
We stayed for a week at the end of July with two kids and all really enjoyed this site. Lots to do locally, site is nice and heated pool is lovely. Only improvement we would like to see is a better kids play area, it is very limited for a site which is aimed at families.
Summer Holiday Dream
Visited Seacroft for the first time July 2018 and such a brilliant time came back July this year.
Facilities are excellent and live up to the Caravan & Motorhomes excellent reputation.
Wardens on site never stopped and worked so hard to keep the site in such good condition. Alan was excellent keeping the grounds on the site up to such high standards. There were no rules talked at you on arrival and no lectures on having a dog with us. The wardens were amazing.
The food at The Wanderer was fabulous and good value for money.
The heated pool was amazing and the price we paid was such good value.
A short walk into Cromer and surrounding villages meant there is always something to do.
Enjoyed it so much have already booked for 2019 and our good friends have also booked to join us too.
