Pleasant stay

Stayed for 6 nights, we were on a serviced pitch on the newer section thought some of the other pitches were a bit dated and some looked small. Where we were was open, bright, light, spacious. Facilities were very clean, wardens do a great job, were welcoming, efficient check in with all the information provided, thank you. Very popular site and quite rightly so, it’s an easy flat walk into Cromer which is a nice seaside town. Same issue with the band system at toilet block, people not following the procedure in place which is written in instructions and provided at check in, forgetting to remove band from hooks and replacing in the solution, so it looks like more in than there is, not wearing masks inside! people need to remember why it is important that we all do what is required.

Lovely charming site, with a great location.

We stayed here for 3 x nights in May 2021. On arrival, around 2.45pm on a Sunday, we had booked a standard pitch with awning. We had to drive around the site a couple of times to actually find a pitch - so ended up by a tree, where the birds took a liking to our awning !! Toilet block was spotless - there is only one block, which for the size of the site does not appear adequate. We used the Club for food & takeaways, which was wonderful, and would highly recommend. Social distancing rules was adhered to in the Club/Restaurant - staff were very friendly & efficient. Though the prices you could say were a tadge expensive, the quality was excellent. The whole site was well maintained, and very clean. We walked to Cromer a couple of times, which was a charming seaside resort. On another day, we took the local train to Wroxham, which was lovely. The train times are very frequent, which goes to Norwich - with lovely stop off's in-between, like Wroxham, Nth Walsham. The walk to the train station from the site took around 20 minutes. Though we were on our own, we wouldn't hesitate to take our Grandchildren there, as Cromer is smashing for kids, with a good beach & Pier, and the odd arcade. On the campsite, there is a swimming Pool (though not open while we were there) and a kids play area. We will definitely visit there again.

Second stay here and great location for access to buses and coast path.

The site was very busy when we arrived, which was expected considering its location close to the coast and Cromer. Access was straight off the main road. We had a nice welcome from the wardens. The site was very clean and well run and whilst limited access to the toilet block was in operation it worked quite well. Although, we were confused about the reduced numbers able to use the toilet block and the closure of showers. The rating of three for facilities reflects our disappointment and confusion, especially as more facilities were available last year before many people had been vaccinated. Also, we wish to register our concern that the Club has increased the costs of its pitches even though full facilities remain inoperable.

Fantastic location

The location of this site is great. You are just a short walk from Cromer and East Runton. The site is very well maintained and the pitches are well spaced out. We did not use the washrooms so can't comment on these. The pool was closed due to the time of year. What I did find strange was that the outside Wanderer bar was open, The inside bar closed due to restrictions, but the inside toilets were closed. We decided not to use the bar because of this. All the pubs have their toilets open so didn't understand the logic behind this decision. The booking in process took a long time due to computer problems and the I did not receive a warm welcome. The person seemed stressed but that is no excuse not to provide a good customer experience. My membership card was taken from me and held in staff members hand for at least 5 minutes and then handed back to me. Not very Covid safe , in my opinion. The gentleman who passed us our barrier key later could't have been more helpful and welcoming. We had a fantastic three days and look forward to returning, although it is an expensive site especially if you are a family rather than a couple.

Great Site

Our first time here, very nice site, friendly wardens and clean facilities. The site is in a great location for beach walks with the dog (don't let dog restrictions (May - Sept) to the beach at Cromer put you off, there are plenty of beach walks nearby) the coastal path is on the doorstep too with lovely walks to East & West Runton/Sheringham and beyond. The site was operating with Covid restrictions, which worked well, the only thing I would say is that the dish washing area could easily accommodate the use of two sinks (one at each end of the facility, instead of only allowing 1 sink to be used) as there was plenty of ventilation, but I guess this is a "CAMC" ruling and not up to individual sites.

Cromer seaside Seacroft

Great stay, well looked after and very welcoming from new wardens Janette, Chris and team. Site is looking better than ever and the services all worked well. Would recommend it, if you get chance to book in.

Another great stay 😁

Our 1st trip away this year and had to be Seacroft always have a lovely stay. Staff friendly site clean an tidy. We love our walks with dog to Cromer, Sheringham, East n West Runton, tried Overstrand for 1st time disappointed with place only one pub an a hotel... had nice walk back along beach though. Luckily had pretty good weather so used bar terrace a few times nice to see one original guy in there, no doombar or house vodka 😔 but with restrictions can't do everything. Can't wait til our next visit in October l will be celebrating my birthday 🥳 maybe the house vodka will be back on then 😁 Love the daily messages on the info room too 🥰

Excellent Location

Great location with an easy walk into Cromer and the beach. Also plenty to do in the surrounding area subject to the current Covid restrictions. Fabulous wardens who kept the place spotless. Excellent facilities although the showers were closed due to Covid as was the restaurant although we did take advantage of the take away one night. The WiFi is shown as Gold but we found it to be on the slow side and had better speed on silver and bronze sites. Lucky enough to be on a service pitches but did think the club are trying to squeeze too many pitches onto this site. I can understand the reasoning for this is to increase the revenue but a little more space and privacy would make a much more enjoyable stay.

No peace for the wicked.........

Wardens as great as always. With hindsight I should have booked a fully serviced pitch. Those up at the top of the site are very smart and with views of the sea, although it seemed quite a bit windier up at the top. Our pitch was near to the neighbouring property where they had workmen in every day with the inevitable builders' radio, so we had the benefit of the thumping bass notes without being able to hear the music. No doubt this is only temporary, but when only staying a few days it was too much trouble to move pitches. I didn't use the facilities but don't doubt they are up to the usual standard. There are two large grass areas with pitches round the edge, but I do wish they would not put another row down the middle as this takes away everyone's bit of privacy. We walked to Overstrand one day (an hour), to Sheringham one day (an hour) and a lovely 6 mile circular walk via Cromer Hall and Fellbrigg Hall, which follows part of the Weavers Way and is well marked, which I recommend.

Great site for the beach

First time at Seacroft with two children just after lockdown. Really impressed with the staff working very hard to make people feel safe. Very clean facilites. Lovely site for families, walking distance to the beach and Cromer and it's pier. Small ish play area but enough to keep a 8 year old and 6 year old happy. We had a takeaway one night from the on site restaraunt which was lovely. My only comment would be it would be great to expand their offering to include some healthier options. Well done to the staff and Caravan club for opening up so well. It was great to be back on site.
