After another visit it was a pleasure to stay here again. The site is well kept and tidy. The swimming pool and restaurant are both open but unfortunately no take out at moment. We arrived about 1.15 pm and had to queue on the road which is not the best thing to do. The wardens did their best to clear us through quickly and we were pitching up in no time at all. The site was full but was still kept tidy and clean.
Great location but very cramped pitches
We stayed at Seacroft for the last 2 weeks of July, so peak time. The site is in a lovely position with easy walks to the beach at East Runyon or into Cromer itself. The facilities are really great, the pool is lovely for kids and the Wanderer Bar does great meals and take always which given the horrendous queues in Cromer for fish and chips was a great help. I expected Norfolk to be flat so I was surprised to find that the site is far from level and you definitely need levelling blocks.
The site staff were wonderful friendly and very helpful, and Mike was a firm favourite with our dog, possibly due to him always a dog biscuit.
The downside to this site is the fact that many of the pitches are extremely cramped, most of the hard standing pitches have no space to sit out and their jockey wheels are almost in the road. We had a grass pitch which wasn’t too bad, however the main grass area has extra caravans in the centre which meant that we were looking directly at the rear of a caravan for the entire fortnight. I measured the distance and we were correctly pitched but only just 6m from the back of the caravan in front this made hitching up to leave nearly impossible due to their awning. The camping field by comparison is well spaced out and there is plenty of room. I wish I could upload a photo but that’s not possible.
This site would benefit from losing around 10-15% of the current pitches to allow for more room between caravans and give people a decent outlook. I realise that this would increase the price but it would be worth it.
We’d never been to Norfolk before, I would go back but I would choose a different site where we there is more space.

Takeaway meal
Popped into The Wanderer Bar to collect our takeaway, fantastic fast service and great food, excellent value for money.
A lovely site with excellent staff and top class facilities
We were delighted to manage to find a few days with vacancies at Seacroft , and even happier when we found a few more .
The staff pay huge attention to their duties , and everywhere is meticulously well kept .
They are also all particularly friendly , so it’s a delight to be there . Nothing is too much trouble .
With regard to the area , the bus service stopping outside in both directions is a great benefit . ( Do read the Sunday timetable carefully - that’s the earliest last bus I’ve ever seen , in one direction ! ) The East Runton Village Stores are very helpful . We enjoyed more than our share of Cromer crab at a very good price .
We’ll be back as soon as possible, and will keep an eye on late availability.
Thanks very much to all of you .

An amazing site with amazing friendly staff.
Arriving on site for a weeks break with my family ,we were made to feel that welcome.
The site was spotless and well laid out with a pub and restaurant.
The restaurant was well priced serving quality food and accepting dogs in part of it (which my Greyhound loved)
Jennette one of the site managers was a real credit to Caravan Club and the site, she was both professional and friendly, nothing to much trouble, a quality that seems to have diminished these days.
We have rebooked for next year and can’t wait to return.
Thank You
Recently spent 2 weeks at Seacroft site. We had the best welcome in all our 20yrs as Caravan Club members. On arrival, Louise booked us in, with a huge smile and John walked, with us following with car and caravan to choose a pitch, from the last 2 available, which after a 5hr journey was very much appreciated. They really were very hands on over the 2 weeks we were there, going beyond the call of duty. Their smiles and friendly waves were very welcome. They were a breath of fresh air. Certainly a Big Asset to the C&MHC. A really good example for new wardens to follow in their footsteps. The site was spotless and well kept, thanks to all the wardens.
We didn't use any facilities or Bistro from choice, as we have been shielding since the start of Covid, so 'little steps for us'. We did feel really safe on the site. Really enjoyed our stay,. Thanks to Louise and John, they made us feel like family. and will certainly return.
Bus stops outside the site, for those who need public transport, Cromer one way and Sheringham and beyond the other way. Huge beaches when tide out, within walking distance to East Runton, very dog friendly. Everything is within easy walking distance, and lovely days out by car. Thank You. Xx
Great site and very friendly wardens .
So many good reviews with all the info needed so I will try not to repeat any. The couple who were the wardens were the most friendly, helpful and welcoming we have experienced on any of the clubs sites.
The onsite food is so good and very reasonably priced , The Sunday lunches were amongst the best our group of six had ever had.
We walked on our visits to Cromer and bused to Holt ( the best little town in Norfolk ) and Sherringham ( awful place full of charity shops and tat ) however there is a heritage ( steam and diesel engines )railway that go to Holt but the station is quite a walk from the town centre.
This is the only clubsite we have visited more than once and we are about to book our third visit.
Thank you for a fantastic week!
We would like to thank the wardens at Seacroft for a lovely week! The site is exceptionally clean, well maintained and very quiet. We arrived to a very warm welcome, with very friendly smiles and we were booked in quickly and provided with all the information we required for a weeks stay. A special thanks to the Wardens (who we have met before at Ferry Meadows) for cutting the grass prior to pitching up - first class customer service received!! The site is in a great location, close to shops, access to the beach with beautiful sunsets, you can walk into Cromer, bus stops in both directions right outside the entrance. We didn't use the restaurant or take away as the sun was out everyday which provided a great excuse to bbq! We will definitely return again, we have some lovely family memories, thank you

Excellent location and facilities
Stayed her over Whit week. Travelled Sunday and as a result got a grass pitch…..haven’t been in grass for more years than I recall!!!!
However, as it happens the location was amazing….sun all day whereas the hard standing at the opposite end were in the shade most of the day.
Swimming pool shut but not bothered. Didn’t use the restaurant to eat on as whether amazing…but did use takeaway facilities and brilliant. Best to order in advance and stipulate a time.
Site full..but didn’t feel like it. East walk up the road to Cromer or East Runton….we will be bacl
Great week in the sun!
We have just returned home from our first week at Seacroft this year. We had a great week and beautiful weather!
The site facilities were absolutely spotless and the outside areas were very well looked after. The new warden team are very friendly, helpful and hardworking, making us all feel at home!
We had a takeaway meal from the clubhouse on the evening we arrived and found the food to very good and reasonably priced. We also popped in for a drink on the outside patio area and it was good to catch up with James.
This site is excellent for walking into Cromer or accessing the stunning North Norfolk coast by car. A hopper bus runs from outside the site to Sheringham or Cromer and there are trains from Cromer, which will take you to Norwich or Wroxham where you can access the Norfolk Broads.
We look forward to returning soon!
