We spent 5 days here starting on Boxing day and we had a great time. Excellent for dog walks and quite at night. Very clean site and will be back in the summer with my lad for a week of fishing.
Great weekend break
Just back from a weekend break. Friendly staff, wonderful clean facilities and great walking for dogs. We will be back.
stopover
Great site for a stopover from the M1, just a couple of minutes away. Very friendly wardens, nice clean facilities, and fantastic for dogs as you are in the middle of the country park for a morning walk. Very close to roads so a little noisy, but I have stayed on noisier sites :) Huge supermarket five minutes drive, Pets at Home close by. Shall definitely use Poolsbrook again if need a night or two from the motorway.

2nd time this year
this is our second visit this year to this site, the first time was in february but it was spoilt by a very very inconsiderate fellow caravanner, although we could not fault the the site or the wardens,we've just had our second visit, thankfully lightening did'nt strike twice and we had a wonderful week, all amenities were spotlessly clean and the wardens couldn't have been friendlier,so much so that we have already booked another week in february 2017,

Very modern facilities
First time at this site. A one night stop over. Very close to motorway so ideal. Friendly wardens, modern toilet block and very clean.
A lovely site
This is a really lovely site. The facilities are very clean, warm and well kept. It is a good place to stay especially with a dog as there are some very good walks round the lakes. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful.
Definitely a site worth visiting.

Good site
Nice quiet site within a short drive from M1. Good level pitches. Country park handy for dog walking plus the path that goes around the outside of the site was perfect.
Nod and Gert
Very easy to find, site good, flat, facilities very clean. Speed calming bump nearby required but can be a little harsh on suspensions.
Overall relaxed break and very enjoyable with pleasant and helpful wardens.

Excellent site
The long weekend we spent here included Bonfire Night, but although we could here fireworks we weren't disturbed by them. This was our second time here & we thoroughly enjoy the peace & quiet. The site is very well maintained with friendly, helpful wardens. The facilities are kept clean & warm &'we love the piped music!! We will definitely return next year. Thank You

Weekend break
First time visit, recommended by a caravan forum, lovely and quiet, great for dog walking, will definitely be visiting again, our only quibble, if you can call it that, is the dog bin was hidden behind the entrance sign and not visible, also on the dog walks behind the site there appeared to be no dog bins at all, which meant there were rows of doggy bags hanging from the trees which was a shame and unsightly, we appreciate that the cc can't be held responsible for this, but it did detract from the walk, having to walk a fair distance carrying poopy bags both ways until we got back to the site, but all in all we had a great weekend
