Lovely, peaceful site

Beautiful site on top of N Yorkshire moors next to the Foss waterfalls and about 5 miles from Whitby. It has no shower or toilet facilities but is more than compensated for by the peaceful atmosphere and lovely views. Wardens are extremely pleasant and helpful

Lovely site...lovely helpful wardens...just lacks fully serviced pitches

Lovely wardens so welcoming and that makes a difference. Had to cancel then rebooked very understanding. Site lovely for kids...well maintained too. didnt use mini golf but kids would have if weather had been better.... only thing that could have made it better would have been to have a super pitch...(if there were any i didnt see them)

Peace and Quiet

First visit and will return. Good location for visiting Whitby and North Yorks coast. Access no problem but best from Scarborough side. Good dog walks from site. Enjoyed our stay

Tranquil site for the older people

Very pleasant site despite having no toilet and washing block - plenty of chemical toilet empty points etc so it was fine. I personally did not like the route into the site off the main A road as fairly steep and bendy, but found a better way to leave even tough a little longer

Lovely tranquil site

This site is in a beautiful area on the Moors and not far from Whitby. There's plenty to do in the area and a walkers paradise. Very nice approach and a friendly welcome from the wardens.  Although no facilities this site is kept nice and tidy and has a very peaceful ambience with open and shaded areas. Will defiantly return

Lovely site in a great location.

our first proper trip caravanning and we arrived in the pouring rain. Myself and my two very small children played inside whilst my husband got to grips with the set up. Thankfully the more experienced caravanners around us came over to help, even giving us a clip for the awning we were missing, saying 'welcome to the caravan club'. Such lovely people. The site itself was quiet, clean and tidy and in very close proximity to Whitby and Robin Hoods bay. The staff were also pleasant and helpful. It's worth noting that there are no services (washing, toilet etc) at the site but we didn't find it a problem. All in all we had a lovely time and we would probably go back to this site.

Just The Job For A Quiet Break

We rarely 'do' Club sites as we prefer the peace and solitude of CLs but we'll make an exception for this site. Peaceful, spacious, well laid out in glades, walks from the site and no toilet block make for a relaxing break. Wish there were more like this and costing just £14.50 a night. A little remote from the coast but well worth it for that but close enough to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Boggle Hole etc. Will definitely use again.

So relaxing

A beautifully kept quiet and peaceful site. Well laid out. Having no washroom/toilet facilities keeps it quiet and peaceful. TV reception with the standard fitted roof aerial was excellent. The wardens are friendly and helpful, even adding a very nice touch of posting birthday and anniversary messages on the blackboard outside the office (providing you let them know). We had a wonderful week on the site including the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Peaceful and relaxing

Stayed here for the August Bank holiday and although the site was full found it be to be extremely quiet and peaceful. Wardens are very friendly, helpful and keep the site lovely. Most of the pitches are hardstanding and spacious but there are a few grass if you prefer. We stayed on pitch 34 which is located in a sunny area and has a large grass area behind it and is great if you have dog. The site is ideally situated for Whitby, Robins Hood Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough. Overall a fantastic site if you are looking for a relaxing break.
