We were here in June and could not wait to go back with our 6 year old Grandchild this August. This really is a lovely site, the wardens do a grand job keeping it in first class condition. We tried the Lighthouse pub in Walcott as we were told about the free children's entertainment in the evenings. It was in a big extension to the pub called the family room. Her meal was really good and Dave the entertainer was brilliant. Just another tick for this lovely place to be. Thanks to the wardens.
Beware of extending dog leads
Wouldn't it be lovely if we could all come out of our caravans and not have to look down for dog poo/residue. Twice at Putts Corner and twice at Broadlands we had the pleasure of people allowing their dogs to poo right next to vans or on the grass next to vans. Each time the owners had those ridiculous and dangerous leads that seem to extend for miles!! The poo was picked up but as the warden said, what about the residue? One owner let his dog poo outside our caravan and thought it OK as he picked it up. It was right where our 8 year old was playing. When I said to him about it he just laughed. The owners have no control over their dogs and we have seen children having to swerve and almost fall off their bikes to avoid getting tangled in the leads. The wardens at Putts Corner did ask us to mention this to you if we did a review as so many people complain about these leads.
The Wardens at both sites were lovely and the showers immaculate and easy to use. Sites we would recommend to others.
Poor for walking wounded
The place lovely the wardens very helpful but, if you are a walking disabled there are no handles in the showers to hold onto as you wash your feet so I h
had to hold onto the cold water down pipe. Not very satisfactory caravan club and I have to say the first time I have ever come across this situation.
Come on caravan club get your act together.

CC at it's best
Great site, great location. Facilities clean & modern. Ideal for walking & cycling. Bus stop outside the site (but they don't always turn up). Only one minor moan. On arrival we were told we were a bit early & some sites would have asked us to come back later. A bit pedantic at 11.55 & not something we've experienced before on any CC site!
Stay with Grandsons
Just stayed for one week with 3 grandsons aged 7, 7 and 5. Great safe site. Wardens very friendly and helpful, site clean and tidy and shower/toilet block immaculate. Great for coast and broads.
Great welcome and lovely site!
Our first visit to this site. Coming through Wroxham over the bridge was an experience when we met a bus but the lovely genuine welcome by the Warden made us feel so welcome and will be something we will remember. This site has plenty of space and is flat and despite being full was so quiet and everyone was really friendly. We enjoyed our day in Great Yarmouth but this is a site you can just chill out on if that's what you want.
Broads stay
Found the site easy enough, be sure to pull in far enough to book in. CC people are great on site and very helpful. Only 100 yards to rivers waters edge. Wouldnt recommend the local cafe seem a bit surly. Went to Falgate Inn on the edge of Potter Higham for Sunday lunch biggest dinner we have ever eaten, great price.
The only problem on site was a dog owner who insisted on allowing her dog to pee right opposite our caravan, after day three I had to tell her that there is a dog walk on site and to use it. Apart from that it was a nice stay. A lot to see a do in the area. Recommend a small boat trip that goes from Horsey round the nature reserve.
Well kept site
Clean and well kept as always. Seaside is worth visiting. No problems with the site. The moan is this is the second site we visited this year where people have been allowed on before 11 when it clearly states 12 arrival time. There was also a massive tent taking up more than one space with the camper next to it when there is a big notice saying No Tents. Niggles - but several people commented. Why have rules?
