Excellent Club Site

We spent 14 nights at the New Forest Caravan Club Site with our 3 children and had a wonderful time. Wardens were excellent and very helpful. One was even willing to find details on visiting a railway station when there wasn't a leaflet available in the information room. Very close to Christchurch and Bournemouth and not too far to Portsmouth and Dorchester. We will definitely be returning soon. Love this site ??????

Best big site

We stayed in mid August for 7 nights. This is the best of the big sites we've stayed on, even though it was full, the facilities never seemed to be busy and we always clean. Nice and quiet, a little bit of traffic noise on the perimeter pitches, but never an issue. Warden team were fantastic and the shop is very well stocked, be warned the fresh cakes are to die for! Great location for the forest and coastal locations. We visited Christchurch, Lymington, Mudeford, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight.

Never fails

This site is now reaching maturity, as usual all the facility's were clean, just again it's a shame some members treat them with little respect. Keep well clear of Foggymans fish and chips, will say no more. Site is ideal for the forest and the coast, for a change drive down to Milford on Sea.

Great Location, Relaxing Stay

As new caravan owners and members this was our first visit to a Club Site.  The site is large with quieter pitches on the outer edges. On arrival, we were told to tour the site to find a pitch (I don’t know if this is usual, but presumed it would be like booking a hotel room where you are allocated a place). The problems seems to arise because few people go back and let them know what pitch they have taken.  Great toilet/shower facilities! Shop well stocked and staff very helpful. The site is a mobile black spot but you can use the Wifi or just take a short walk around the site or drive out for a signal. We parked up on the tree line of ‘Liberator’ and I think we will find seeds from the trees for years to come. It was a little sappy in that location and you lose the sun ahead of other pitches.  Really very convenient for the New Forest and South Coast.  Mudeford is just minutes away with a superb café on Avon Beach and ideal for crabbing on the quay with the children. Just along the way is Milford On Sea where there is a great fish and chip shop in the village triangle. We chose to eat ours up at a large car park over looking the IOW. All in all a great and relaxing few days away.

Second Visit

Second visit height of season - very different from the peaceful out of season visit and the site reflected this.  For us far too busy but perfect children's play site

Restful retreat!

Our first visit to the New Forest en route to the Isle of Wight from the Midlands.  Lovely site - booked for one night but stayed for two to enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside surrounding the site.  Friendly staff, well stocked shop and excellent facilities. Surprisingly quiet despite it being high season and many families on site. Bit pricey, otherwise no complaints!

Standards dropped slightly

This is our second stay on this site, our first was around the same time last year. We had a fabulous two week holiday. This site is perfect for children with lots for them to do. It's a great place to stay for walking and cycling. We were nice and close to poole and bournmouth too and enjoyed a visit to the Isle of Wight. However, we were slightly disappointed that the site was not up to last year's standards, the shower facilities were not as clean or as well kept. The wardens were different to last year and weren't as friendly and outgoing, this was reflected during the on site fun day as well as the general atmosphere in the site shop. There was one cheerful male warden who greated us whenever we passed and was very friendly it's a shame the others were not as outgoing.

Very Friendly staff

Stayed for 3 nights, near to home for us so just a quick weekend break. Good site well kept friendly staff this is only the second time we have stayed at a CC site still not sure about the finding your own pitch thing. I asked at reception if he could give us a clue where there were some free pitches and were told there were loads but after our third lap and still no hard standing pitches we had to plum for a grass pitch near the road which would have been our last choice as it backs on to a cattle grid ! thankfully it did not rain and the ground was fairly dry. If they could have indicated where the free pitches were it would have saved some cross words at the start of our weekend !!!

New Forest Holiday

This is the first time we have stayed at this particular site and we were not disappointed. We stayed for 9 nights and made the most of the surrounding area and local pubs (The Three Tuns) was a particular favourite, if you like good food. The only downside was the large group of children that raced up and down the site on bikes and scooters especially during the evening without lights and helmets on. The site is close to lots of places of interest and we certainly found lots of picture postcard villages to stroll around. We would definitely visit this site again.
