Fantastic family site

Ideally located for the huge range of attractions in the New Forest, Christchurch and Bournemouth. Beautifully kept with the exception of overgrown hedges around the washblocks. The site is vast and we had the misfortune to be opposite a very noisy tent on our second stay (what happened to the no tents rule?), but mostly surprisingly peaceful and ideal for kids - safe and plenty of room to play, with a high quality play park and football field as well as Tourer Explorer activities. Great to be able to choose our own pitch suited to family needs.

Great site!

We were only staying one night but we booked late and were pleased to see the host even as late as 7.30 pm. The site is extremely quiet and peaceful. Very helpful and informative hosts.

What a wonderful find

I've always loved the south coast and the beaches around Bournemouth. I hadn't realised that there was such a good club site so near the coast. What an absolutely wonderful find. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and there was a good choice of plots. It's a beautiful site and well laid out in different zones, so you don't feel like you're on a massive site. As with most club sites the toilets and showers are spotlessly clean. For me though, the best part was being just 15 minutes away from a soft sandy beach. We had the advantage of wall to wall sunshine which always helps, but I'm sure this is a great site whatever the weather.

Fantastic staff

During our stay in July we unfortunately lost our friend, who was staying on the adjacent pitch, to a heart attack. His partner was obviously distraught but Dawn and Bill the wardens who attended the emergency were fantastic. They were so understanding and compassionate in helping her to calm down while dealing with the emergency and the services who attended. The whole incident was dealt with in a very professional and caring way and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful to ease the way. I would like to give my thanks to them all.

Large but well organised apart from WiFi

Having been to three other CC sites this year the New Forest site was equally as good apart from WiFi. I discovered that many areas at the fringes of this large site are unable to obtain WiFi properly. A WiFi coverage map was located on the wall at reception when I enquired after I had pitched and put up an awning. I was told I could move to another pitch. I suggest that enhancements are made so that WiFi is available from all pitches alternatively the coverage map is pointed out on arrival and or available online in the site details.

Our sixth visit

Just returned from two weeks and as usual we have had a lovely relaxing time. I can't say enough what a difference it makes arriving at a club site to be greeted by lovely friendly wardens and they certainly are at this site.  The site is kept immaculate and the shower blocks are lovely and clean.  There are plenty of places to visit in the vicinity Swanage, Bournemouth, Poole, and Mudeford is a little gem of a place. we will hopefully be back next year.

A Great first outing

This was our first family caravanning trip. It was important that everyone enjoyed it. We chose this site as it offered a good location with access to cycling in the forest. I am pleased to say it was a complete success. From the friendly welcome offering help if we needed, through the spotless facilities and into a peaceful night this was a great site. On our cycling trip along the well marked paths we were able to see another site nearby. The difference between the Caravan Club site and the other one was obvious. Our peaceful well tended and well laid out site was the opposite of the other, thank goodness we made the choice we did. A big thank you to the wardens for this stay . We will return

Great site

This was our first visit to this site and we were quite surprised at how full it was. Having had a lovely weekend there it was easy to see why, a lovely laid out and very clean site. Very child and dog friendly. My grandson had a great time doing his little treasure hunt and loved the play park and the dogs had a great time in the big dog field, being able to let them off the lead to run makes a great difference as I always feel bad that they have to be on a lead for the whole weekend. This is a site we will definitely go back to.
