What more could you want??

Just returned from 15 nights at the Centenary site, visited it several times now and always found it to be to an excellent standard. Closing the toilet block to clean it around mid day when everyone is out and about is a great idea rather than closing it mid morning when everyone is still on site. The only negative that comes to mind is the new glass recycling bin placed near the taps / bins. It's a great idea spoilt by people dropping glass bottles into it at all hours of the night causing a loud clatter... maybe a big piece of sponge at the bottom of the bin would cure this :) alternatively move the bin around to an area in the car park as opposed to next to the pitches. Anyway, this minor matter didn't spoil another great couple of weeks with the club . Thank you!!

Brilliant New Forest Base

We are keen walkers and cyclists and this site is a perfect base for both activities. We  love the almost direct access to routes from the site and the bike wash facility! The site was full when we arrived but it was peaceful at all times and the facilities remained spotless throughout, with ample provision. Very friendly welcome and helpful wardens. A nice variety of grass and hard standing pitches in well laid out areas. The only downside to the site, in common with many others, is the very poor internet connection, which is s bind when you have had to pay for it. Will definitely return.

Our First Caravan Club Site

As newbies and our first experience of a Caravan Club site we were very impressed with the layout and tidiness of the site, and cleanliness of the facilities. The site staff were helpful and cheerful and the shop, though limited in its produce, had most things needed to get you out of trouble. We were impressed with the friendliness of other members (particularly Brian and Linda on the next pitch) and their consideration to us being on a learning curve. I'm sure we entertained for a while trying to put the awning up for the first time. (the sealant blocked awning rail didn't help!). We would thoroughly recommend the site and look forward to seeing if others match up.

Would recommend

We stayed at this site on our way back from Cornwall and loved it. We found a quiet pitch in Liberator which was at the opposite end of the site away from the busy children's park. Always plenty of showers and toilets available and staff were always emptying bins and keeping the site clean. The two dog walks were the best we have seen, one of them being a large enclosed space for them to be let off and play with others. Wifi and phone reception was not good and had to go off site to receive anything but tv signal was excellent (pleased the husband so he could watch the Olympics!) will definately go back again.

Excellent Club Site

We spent 14 nights at the New Forest Caravan Club Site with our 3 children and had a wonderful time. Wardens were excellent and very helpful. One was even willing to find details on visiting a railway station when there wasn't a leaflet available in the information room. Very close to Christchurch and Bournemouth and not too far to Portsmouth and Dorchester. We will definitely be returning soon. Love this site ??????

Best big site

We stayed in mid August for 7 nights. This is the best of the big sites we've stayed on, even though it was full, the facilities never seemed to be busy and we always clean. Nice and quiet, a little bit of traffic noise on the perimeter pitches, but never an issue. Warden team were fantastic and the shop is very well stocked, be warned the fresh cakes are to die for! Great location for the forest and coastal locations. We visited Christchurch, Lymington, Mudeford, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight.

Never fails

This site is now reaching maturity, as usual all the facility's were clean, just again it's a shame some members treat them with little respect. Keep well clear of Foggymans fish and chips, will say no more. Site is ideal for the forest and the coast, for a change drive down to Milford on Sea.

Great Location, Relaxing Stay

As new caravan owners and members this was our first visit to a Club Site.  The site is large with quieter pitches on the outer edges. On arrival, we were told to tour the site to find a pitch (I don’t know if this is usual, but presumed it would be like booking a hotel room where you are allocated a place). The problems seems to arise because few people go back and let them know what pitch they have taken.  Great toilet/shower facilities! Shop well stocked and staff very helpful. The site is a mobile black spot but you can use the Wifi or just take a short walk around the site or drive out for a signal. We parked up on the tree line of ‘Liberator’ and I think we will find seeds from the trees for years to come. It was a little sappy in that location and you lose the sun ahead of other pitches.  Really very convenient for the New Forest and South Coast.  Mudeford is just minutes away with a superb café on Avon Beach and ideal for crabbing on the quay with the children. Just along the way is Milford On Sea where there is a great fish and chip shop in the village triangle. We chose to eat ours up at a large car park over looking the IOW. All in all a great and relaxing few days away.
