Very good clean and friendly site

Very good clean and friendly site. Close to village for walking. Live music in village and places of interest to visit. Good walks by the river tweed. Will certainly visit again.

There is one thing I can fault

Gibson park must be one of the best club sites, it's excellent, it's our first visit and won't be our last.  The facilities are spotless, access is excellent and plenty hot water.  Wonderful facilities for dogs, lovely park on doorstep.  The relief wardens are brilliant, they haven't stopped working since we arrived, nothing is to much trouble for them.  Melrose is a haven for plant lovers only small critism for anyone in a wheelchair is lack of access to shops and also poor drop kerbs but even that can't spoil our holiday.

Report

We have just had our first and hopefully not last visit to Melrose Gibson Park . We really enjoyed our stay with friendly wardens and very clean and tidy site, it can be seen the wardens put in a lot of very hard work .The show of plants and flowers at the reception area were beautiful . The location of the site very close to the high street is within easy walking distance and saves a lot of driving . Hope to visit this lovely site and that part of the world next year.

Another great weekend

Had another great weekend break here site is looking good a credit to the efforts of the wardens. Found the bar in the Rugby club to be open at the weekends superb Guinness. Great take away fish and chips from the Station Hotel and if you want to use the local buses a 1 zone day ticket with FED buses will get you to Gala and Selkirk far cheaper than single tickets.

Fabulous site

This was about our tenth visit to Gibson Park, Melrose over the past 4 years and I am sure we will be back again soon. Site is very well maintained by the two extremely hard working wardens and their flower baskets add a wonderful splash of colour to greet you as you arrive at reception. Great location with easy access to the town centre. Lots of good eating places in easy walking distance and lots to see and do nearby or a short drive away. Fab!

Melrose July 2016

Had three nights stay with mixed weather but overall a good stay. Excellent site with friendly wardens who looked after all aspects well....clean and tidy to very high standard. A negative comment about Caravan Club was (a) charging for WiFi and at Melrose and (b) Convoluted method of carrying out this review after three attempts to find the correct route to take....nearly gave up trying. Reviews should be easy to do ...not difficult
