Our first stay here and we will return! The site is really handy for Melrose, being at the bottom of the main street, but nicely tucked away. Melrose has great restaurants and the walking is fabulous. There are level strolls and great hill walking for the more adventurous.
The showers and toilets are really clean.
Winter break
What a lovely site Melrose is. The campsite is very easy to find. The campsite is right next to melrose. There is a butchers which does gluten free food. There is plenty of lovel walks to do too.
The facilities are very clean and the site is always tidy. The wardens are very nice too. highly recomend this site.

Xmas Break
My Wife and I normally holiday abroad during this period, (a cruise). This is our first year in the caravan and we decided we would make the most of it, so before we decided to put it to bed for the winter and the weather being good we decided to venture to Melrose for six nights over Xmas. The site was easy accessible and the reception was first class, cheerful and helpful. We received a mince pie and a cup of Mulled wine. The sight was very clean and well spaced out. The toilet block was always spotless as was the cleaning area. Melrose is a very friendly town and we found it a great place to venture out to places like Edinburgh, the Park and Ride in Edinburgh is brilliant and regular. The site had no kids on it which made our time there nice and peaceful. I would have no hesitation in returning to the site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
