This site is lovely and well looked after. The only thing wrong is space between each caravan. Our friends were on pitch 28 and we were on pitch 29, and the space from friends car to our awning was apx 2 foot, if they weren't friends we would have been uncomfortable. Other than that the site and staff were lovely. I think they should check spaces between each pitch.
Crowded site
The shower blocks very good found site to be very close to neighbouring pitches also a very slopping site so not always possible to make van level
A TOTAL MADHOUSE OF UNRULY CHILDREN
Absolutly disgusted with this site.
We paid to have a service pitch and in the wisdom of the caravan club they put them right bang opposite a play park AND A BALL PARK every morning the kids were out at 7.30 and it was total screaming and shouting and balls banging push bikes flying up and down skateboards and scooters the noise was just unacceptable, but the parents were not bothered they were a long way off the play area having a quiet rest on standard pitches. We had a week of total mayhem and paid an enhanced price for the displeasure Looe is a no go area from now on.
We'll run site
This site is a credit to the warden and his assistants it's well kept and the staff especially the warden are very helpful stayed 15 night with my family and another family it was great travelled 492 miles from Scotland and it's well worth it Looe it's self if a lovely wee town
Why go abroad
Excellent site. Two weeks of hot weather, so the swimming pool came in quite handy. Have done some alterations to the pool which has made it a lot better. Lots of walks, nice beaches, so
why go abroad. Just look out for the weather forecast.

Excellent.
Got to be one of the best sites the caravan club have, we have been to this site for the last four years and cannot fault the place, great bonus outdoor pool, and fish restaurant just down the road (serves other food) facilities spotless, wardens great.

A Fine Retreat
It's a great site with all the described facilities in excellent condition.
It was a good base to start exploring Cornwall - something we had been promising ourselves for many years.
The walk into Looe via Millendreath Beach along the Coastal Path was exhillarating.

A little Gem
First of all after returning from Looe last Sun, then having a busy couple of days washing ironing etc before we were off again for 3 days, I am a week late in reviewing.
It was our 4th yr visiting Looe CC site & as per usual we had a great time. Wardens Kevin & Mandy & the rest of their team were fantastic. we were made to feel so welcome from the minute we stepped into the office to book in. They keep a well kept site with all facilities spotless. The swimming pool is great & even better now its been leveled out to one depth. There's plenty for kids to do without leaving the site. There's a bus stop right outside the front gate. We have always managed to get down the bottom of site on hard standing where it is peaceful & quiet but, we have stayed when the holidays are on & up top near play area can sometimes be a little noisy. There is a good dog walk area on site. If anyone asks me is it worth a visit, the reply is always most definately.
Great for families
Great site with good facilities, especially for families/children. Good play facilities and the heated outdoor pool is a big bonus. The pitch we had had a good sea view but was a bit windy at times as was maybe slightly exposed. Would say the pitches in the first field were more sheltered...so if you have an awning maybe you need to consider whether to sacrifice a sea view for a more sheltered pitch. Wardens very helpful and maintained the site very well. Overall a very good site.
bonny site
We booked this site as an emergency stop owing to a miscalculation with the timings of our journey.
Wardens fantastic very helpful, fitted us in for the one night, even though when I got there the site seemed to be jam packed busy busy busy, the pool looked to be a cracking size. There is a chipper five mins away, turn left out gate and it is on left, restaurant there as well, never had whale and chips before, but it felt like that when finished consuming it. Site is huge looking, wee shop at reception.
I think it would be sound for a wee break as it is central to a good few things to do around the area.
well done to all running it.
