Lovely site. Brilliant washing facilities, very clean, great showers. Found the site pretty quiet even though it was virtually full. Staff friendly. Pool was an added bonus to us,children loved it. Very close to Looe harbour (5min drive) lovely little shops. Sandy beach. Plenty to see and do.Â
We loved it and are already planning to return for 2 weeks.Â
Will be returning next year
Great facilities at this site including mini golf, tennis and probably the best park we have come across from all the sites we have attended. The outdoor pool was also brilliant!
From my personal experience please do NOT follow your sat nav as per booklet. Got me into problems on the narrow B roads on route. I missed that bit when booking.
Phone signal is poor on site and club wifi slow.
Overall a great holiday and we intend returning next year.
Lovely Site in Cornwall
We enjoyed staying on this site - our pitch was near the entrance/ outdoor pool area. It was relaxing & peaceful, but it seemed a lot noisier & busy near the play park/toilet block. My children enjoyed going in the outdoor pool most early evenings after a day out site seeing.
Lovely Looe
We had a wonderful time. Site was very well looked after. Great base to explore Cornwall. Highly recommend Seaton beach for dogs, and The Coddy Shack down the road for fish and chips or book a table and try their seafood - yummy! Down side is that the grass pitches are very close together, however great for making new friends ??.Â
Pleased to go to looe
Great 14 nights, our selves and daughter, son in law and grandson pitched on hard standing pitches, level with plenty of space, wardens were very helpful and friendly, our grandson loved the pool and we all had a great time site seeing, would certainly return to this site again

great location and a very nice site
this was our 1st time in Cornwall and i was jubious about Looe but when we got there the site seemed very nice with friendly helpful wardens and within the 1st day our reservations on Looe had gone and we loved it. we was close to the park as we have a 6 year old and wish we was slightly further away as the children and even adults going to the park was constantly cutting through our pitch to get there which doesn't normally bother us but when your sat outside your awning and the kids are pushing past your chair is very annoying. i teach my son to walk around to get the where ever hes going not to cut pitches so i had to buy a windbreak to cut the shortcut off and after that wasn't too bad but be warned if you are near the park it will happen to you. Apart from that we loved the site toilet blocks nice and clean and the pool was a nice addition. Looe is fantastic full of friendly people and lots of shops to browse with nice ice cream shops. we enjoyed crabbing with our 6 year old and did it a few times throughout our stay in Looe. It is a good base to explore Cornwall and we did a few day trips out like to Pendennis castle in Falmouth and a day in Newquay and we loved Cornwall and will be back. The monkey sanctuary just up the road its not a huge place but worth a visit and for a good cause. if we return to Looe we will stop here again just on a pitch a little further from the park but apart from that 10 out of 10.
Great Location
Site it's self is great, the toilet blocks are clean and tidy, the pool area is clean and the pitches are as expected for this time of year. Wardens were excellent and very helpful. My only gripe was the same as everybody else. The grass pitches are way too small and packed in. It's obvious that the 'commercial attitude' takes over during peak periods and increase pitch numbers accordingly. Its a shame but overall I thought this site was well looked after and the location is superb. Give Talland Bay a visit for a nice beach, rock pools and cafe. Also Seaton beach is excellent for dogs and the food in the Smugglers Inn is really nice.
Nice site
Wasn't looking forward to this site, unfortunately it let me down, the pitches are way too close together, didn't seem like normal caravan site widths,we ended up on a grass pitch which ended us looking for bricks or anything we could find to prop van up, normally our chocks and off cuts of wood we take with us are enough. Has previous camper stated everyone cut through "your area" making it feel like you wanted to invite them in. On a good note as always wardens were marvellous, extremely helpful, really pleasant, toilet blocks clean, they always seemed to be on the go and had a smile for everyone. To end, all I can say is come on caravan club! Sort your grass pitches out, your letting yourselves down, just for sake of losing a few pitches, give us our privacy back!
Nice site, layout could be better
This is a lovely site, well maintained and facilities very clean, with lots of showers/cubicles available. The design of the showers is particularly good, spacious cubicles with a step into and shower curtain to separate the shower and changing area to keep the latter dry. Fully controllable showers were very good too, rather than push button type. At busy times you have a very low chance of getting a serviced or hard standing pitch and we ended up on a grass pitch. These are not at all level, but with a few blocks etc we got there OK. The only issue with this site is the layout, there are only three long access roads, meaning a potentially long walk round to the facilities by road, the consequence of this is that almost no-one does so and wander between the pitches instead. We avoided this (unintentionally) by pitching away from the facilities and 'off centre' but i did feel for the three units pitched opposite the block where everyone seemed to be walking through all day. As others have said the pitches aren't very generous in size either. The staff were always very cheerful and helpful. Locally I would recommend the 'Coddy Shack' just down the road, but this is SUPER busy, especially on the Friday we went, queued about an hour for takeaway, although the F&C were superb. Mama J's Pizza on the harbour in Looe is also well worth a visit, but again I would advise booking. Milendreath beach just around the corner is a nice coarse sand beach with crabbing/rockpooling etc available off the jetty at lowish tides and free parking with a cafe/toilets too.
