Too many dogs
We pitched in primrose Dell, nice spacious pitch, bit of sun, bit of shade. We travel with 2 cats. So plenty of hedges full of mice for them to watch.
There is a small walk off the Dell which we were told was a nature walk NOT a dog walk, however this does seem to be used as a dog walk, leaving the usual dog mess behind.
4 vans turned up, nine dogs between them ! Most (6)were kept well under control, for which we thank you, however spoilt by one van whose dogs were off leads.
A dog free area would be good, not everyone likes dogs, especially when allowed by irresponsible owners to foul the pitches and grass verges, usually early morning when they think no one is around.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lots of lovely walks nearby.
